'Milliennium'? Chilled? It was like a massive party track in 1998  Other than that not too bad, some nice underrated tracks there.

I think it might be a first. As far as I can see, the only Eurovision entries to appear on a Now album are:

Now 31: Love City Groove - Love City Groove

Now 34: Gina G - Ooh Aah... Just A Little Bit

Now 40: Imaani - Where Are You?

Now 43: Precious - Say It Again

I'm guessing there was a label issue with Katrina & The Waves, if not, then leaving Love Shine A Light off was bang out of order!

I used to absolutely ADORE Now 43!!! Thinking about it, I think I pretty much loved all the Now 40s. <3

That's what I was thinking. Why not Eternity or something like that

They're just churning out any old Now album now and just sticking anything that could remotely match the title
Everytime I look at the Now US tracklists, they always have a random song or two on that didn't chart on the Hot 100  Like on the above one the last four haven't charted (although Glee covered the Halestorm track).

Apparently, they use the last 4 songs for upcoming artists and songs they predict will be big. Like for one they put on Hot Chelle Rae 'Tonight Tonight' before it was successful and they then also put it on te next Now album as one of the big songs

Now Chill got released today. I'm enjoying it very much, I love that Lana's "Blue Jeans" is on it

Also, we are getting another spin-off! Now That's What I Call 90s Dance which will be out October 22nd. I would get excited but I already own both "Big Tunes Back 2 The 90s" albums so I'll probably own every song on it.

The cover for Now That's What I Call 90's Dance is out as well

NOW 83 could be the LAST Now CD ever

The Now That's What I Call Music! series may be forced to come to an end later this year.

The long-running and hugely popular music compilation is said to be in jeopardy due to the takeover of EMI by Universal.

As part of the deal with the European Commission for Universal's £1.2 billion takeover of EMI, the label has agreed to sell EMI's 50% stage of the Now! brand.

The series is set to end with upcoming edition Now 83 - to be released in November - unless a buyer arrives to invest in the compilations.

The current compilation in the series Now 82 is currently the biggest selling album of the year with sales of over 700,000.

"Everyone has at least one Now album in their record and CD collection – they're a total guilty pleasure and an essential part of growing up," Top of the Pops magazine editor Peter Hart told The Independent.

"But at the same time, these song collections are nearly as an important part of British pop heritage as Top of the Pops itself, and it would be devastating to see them disappear for good."

Now! was launched in 1983, and was the first compilation series that worked with the major record labels of the day to include several number ones and big hits on one record.

The series has since sold over 100 million copies, and continues to dominate the compilation chart with each new edition, as well as several spin-offs including Now Dance.

1999's Now 44 is currently the biggest selling edition, shifting 2.3 million copies, making it the best selling compilation album ever.

It has also been launched in other countries around the world, including the United States, Argentina, Egypt and New Zealand.

Industry experts have stated that buyers for all parts of EMI are likely to arrive, especially the Now! series, which continues to be hugely popular.

I can't see 'DNA' being on there unfortunately. That'll be on NOW 84 along with their 4th number 1 :kink:

If you've got news on the release dates for ANY Now Music CD I'll update this first post as much as I can

Gangnam Style would be the most hilarious start to any Now album ever  But you're probably right - the first track of Disc 1 is usually the biggest hit of the preceeding few months. Now 82 started with We Are Young (followed by Call Me Maybe), 81 with Gotye, 80 with Moves Like Jagger, 79 with Someone Like You etc, and you can't deny the power of Psy this autumn.

Tracklist revealed.

CD 1

1 Psy – Gangnam Style (강남스타일)

2 Robbie Williams – Candy

3 Swedish House Mafia feat. John Martin – Don’t You Worry Child

4 Taylor Swift – We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

6 Calvin Harris feat. Florence Welch – Sweet Nothing

7 Maroon 5 – One More Night

8 Wiley feat. Skepta, JME & Ms D – Can You Hear Me? (Ayayaya)

9 Flo Rida – I Cry

10 Ne-Yo – Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)

11 Owl City feat. Carly Rae Jepsen – Good Time

12 Katy Perry – Wide Awake

13 P!nk – Blow Me (One Last Kiss)

14 Little Mix – Wings

15 Stooshe – Waterfalls

16 JLS – Hottest Girl In The World

19 Rita Ora – How We Do (Party)

20 Cheryl – Under The Sun

21 Wiley feat. Ms D – Heatwave

22 Sam And The Womp – Bom Bom

CD 2

1 Labrinth feat. Emeli Sandé – Beneath Your Beautiful

2 The Script feat. will.i.am – Hall Of Fame

3 Florence + The Machine – Spectrum (Say My Name) (Calvin Harris Remix)

4 David Guetta feat. Sia – She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)

5 Calvin Harris feat. Example – We’ll Be Coming Back

6 Ellie Goulding – Anything Could Happen

7 Naughty Boy feat. Emeli Sandé – Wonder

8 Conor Maynard feat. Ne-Yo – Turn Around

10 Chris Brown – Don’t Wake Me Up

11 Amelia Lily – You Bring Me Joy

12 Fun. – Some Nights

13 Example – Say Nothing

14 Lawson – Taking Over Me

15 Karmin – Brokenhearted

16 Trey Songz – Simply Amazing

17 Simple Plan feat. Sean Paul – Summer Paradise

18 Angel – Wonderful

19 Devlin feat. Ed Sheeran – Watchtower

20 Mumford & Sons – I Will Wait

21 Elbow – One Day Like This

Terrible imo. Especially the second disc.

ELBOW? SERIOUSLY!? Could they not replace that with Of Monsters and Men or something?

Overall... it's very... average? It feels dated already!

Very pleased however, to see the likes of Karmin, Simple Plan, Mumford & Sons, Ne-Yo, Taylor and ofc Little Mix! But there's still something lacking from this album! Rihanna? Adele?

Now 82 was perfect.....this isn't. I don't know really. I can barely remember how most of those tracks go but that's probably a mixture of me not paying much attention and the quality of the songs being quite crap. There are way too many double appearances from artists whose songs all sound the same anyway. It's good to see Maroon 5, Pink and Mumford & Sons I suppose. I'll still get it but it's a little underwhelming.
