How many NOW spin-offs are they gonna release? They probably have a ma-hoosive checklist of ideas lying around somewhere

I used to collect the Now albums a few years ago, but i don't really bother anymore. The tracklist doesn't look very good for this one either; leaving off genuinely popular songs (Little Talks, Million Voices) in favour of already-forgotten top ten hits (Watchtower, Simply Amazing)?

Worse still is that it's a dance remix of Simply Amazing that's been tracklisted  A lot of disc 2 has a real whiff of 'leftovers/filler' to it, but in general the compilation as a whole was a nice enough listen, but not as strong as some winter Now's have been.

That musical one looks really nice.

Plus - No Running Up That Hill (2012) on Now 83!!!....shocked (not really)

So we ARE getting Now 84. I have to say I was disappointed initially with Now 83 but have loved it in the month since I got it for Christmas. I'll probably have the same misgivings about this one and end up really liking it too. Shame Dido isn't in with a shot of appearing. I've always hated that she never made it on to more than one Now.
Nice cover, a bit of personality! Easter's earlier this year and it usually coincides with the start of the school holidays so I guess it will be out in late March/very early April?

I read a comment on one of the statuses on the FB page that the provisional release date was 25 March so I think that could possibly the date. :)

Yes, they've always used half term to release Now! albums in recent years - a great way to continue getting those incredible first week sales.

Now! 83 has sold over 1.4 million copies since release making it one of the most successful selling Now! albums.

Do you remember your first Now!?

So, who is going to start us off with tracklist predictions. Please try and make them typically obvious and include plenty of late 2012 tracks. That way when the official tracklist is revealed, we might actually have a lot of new/recent tracks on there instead. :D

Now 47 was my first Now. <3

'Lucky' - Britney Spears, 'Natural' - S Club 7, 'It's Gonna Be Me' - N*Sync, 'I'm Over You' - Martine McCutcheon, 'Absolutely Everybody' - Vanessa Amorosi !, 'I Turn To You' - Melanie C, 'Ordinary World (Aurora)' - Naimee Coleman and 'Tell Me' - Mel B.

All excellent songs

I bought Now 47 too. 'Pure Shores' Plenty of great tracks on both cds. Delerium 'Silence', Zombie Nation 'Kernkraft 400', Coldplay 'Trouble'.

** puts cd into computer drive ** :kink:

The Now I got after was better (Now 50). It's one of my favourite Now albums ever. So many good songs and memories attached that era of music for me.
Now 26 (on tape) was my first ever, god I'm old  Sophie B Hawkins, Was Not Was, ABBA, Bjorn Again (embarrassed to say that I liked the latter better at the time :kink: )
My first Now was Now 56, which I got for Christmas 2003! :D It started a life-long obsession of Now albums for me, my favourite of all time is Now 57 though! So many good songs on that album!
My first NOW was Now 56! And my last was Now 80 ;) Used to really love the compilation series, it was my way of keeping up with the latest music before I became a chart geek. Later I would just get given NOWs as presents but by 2011-12 I had downloaded about 70% of the album before it was released (and most of the other 30% I didn't like/grew out of already) so I asked people to stop getting me NOWs as they were useless to me  It's really great to see that they're still going strong even though I don't use them anymore :D
My first NOW was Now 56!

SOULMATES

My first Now! album was Now! 17 on cassette. I guess I saw it in Wooworths and the pixelated yellow cover grabbed my attention (I was only 9 years old :D ) and so asked if I could have it and my parents bought me the album.

The first one I bought was Now 42 (Corrs, Cher, Ace Of Base, Honeyz, Steps etc...) in spring 1999, at a Little Chef shop, I got it the day before it was officially released, they must have put it out by mistake  I've worked my way back to Now 25 and also have Now 23, missing Now 24 and the first 22 but got all of the others!

Oddly, I bought a Hits album beforehand as Hits 99 from late 98 was the first compilation I ever bought!
