I have all of them since 18  That said, the only ones I bought at the time are from 40 onwards. The rest I either stole from my mother or bought second-hand.

has any Now album featured so little rock or indie?

I dunno... 44-47 were quite poor in that respect. The last two (76 and 77) as well. I think this is probably the worst that I can remember though - with a measly 1. Even those ones have at least two (although you have to push with Fyfe Dangerfield and Pendulum on 76)

On Now Music's FaceBook page it says that this will be released on the 11th as well, to celebrate the Royal Wedding. It is on Play.com so it might be a proper spin off. Thoughts? I don't actually know what kinds of songs they'll include - ballads/love songs or something?

they are very chart based, rock and indie hasn't been doing that well in the charts, although they don't often include a lot of rock songs- less family friendly maybe?

and Runaway is such an underrated gem :( glad its been included

Well that's certainly one way to cheapen a long-running and successful brand.

it's not the only compilation to jump on the royal wedding thing ya'know. Why not make a quick bit of money

Will people actually buy them these days though? Aren't compilation sales at an all time low?
Bar the first couple of weeks of the Now albums, I guess so. They should just include them into the official charts now, imo. Then it'll stop any arguments as to whether Glee albums should be in the artist chart or compilations charts etc... In my local Tesco, Glee are in the compilations chart section! :drama:

Glee albums are soundtracks and I've always thought any soundtrack is a compilation

I personally don't think any of these are 'Wedding' related unless maybe just songs played in the after party  some of them are about positivity, and Tainted Love couldn't be any more unrelated!

What on earth is the third disc for!? It was actually looking okay until that! It's still a stupid idea though.

i think disc 3 is like the party for the children that get dragged along to weddings because the parents can't be asked to find someone to look after them
That third disc :o. Some of them are rather anti-marrige(Poker Face and Tainted Love :o). It is a bit of a pointless album anyway.
If anyone's interested, the Nowmusic channel on YouTube has uploaded loads of adverts that were previously not uploaded or only there in shorter form (i.e. 10 seconds) :D For some reason they missed out on 41, though, which was only there in 10 second form previously :( They also missed 40, but a 30-second clip of that one has been uploaded before, so that's not really a problem.

Looks like it will be the Jessie J solo version of Price Tag on Now 78, the clips are up on Amazon MP3 and it says (w/out B.o.B.) next to Price Tag :o

Annoying for most people I should think although I don't mind as I have that version on her album and wouldn't mind owning the solo version. Seems strange though...

I don't care what version they do for Jessie J as I have the song already, but they should put the more popular version on the album. They did this with "Waving Flag" too where they put the original instead of the massively popular coca-cola remix.

That I found incredibly irritating as I love the Coca Cola mix but the slower version isn't that great for me. Luckily I import the Swedish compilation series Absolute Music (which also has 3 issues a year) and they tend to include the correct edits and fill the gaps in my collection that used to be filled by the now defunct Hits series. Apologize was another, they included the One Republic album version instead of the hit Timbaland version :(
