Red Lights is not Tiesto's best but YAYAYASS at it giving him his first top 10 single (it's about time he had one considering he's a dance music legend) His remix of 'Adagio For Strings' should've done it for him 10 years ago but sadly that only scraped the top 40 despite being very popular.

 

I liked Adagio For Strings when I was in senior school. Tiesto's version of Adagio For Strings was out for a long time (i.e. years) before it was released as a single, so that might have had something to do with its peak.

Really impressed by both Foxes and Paloma. I'm sure 'Let Go For Tonight' would not be outdoing 'Youth' were it not for the price tag but this is still a fine result, hopefully commercial radio get on board now it's a hit. 'Can't Rely On You' really exceeding all expectations too, it's a miraculous performance considering she has no commercial airplay whatsoever. Perhaps she can get Radio 1 back on board with this? Who knows.

Just heard 'Red Lights' and it's this year's 'This Is What It Feels Like' equivalent - previously brilliant DJ releases his blandest, most commercial track ever. basically copying David Guetta/Calvin Harris completely and it inevitably becomes their biggest hit by miles.

 

This guy was brilliant 10-15 years ago. There's nothing that makes this new track stand out from any other top 10 dance hit in the last five years. Next up it'll be Ferry Corsten...

Hopefully after Thursday Molly Sanden - Why Am I Crying can go atleast top 200 on itunes as the whole song is used in Ja'mie: Private School Girl this week. In the seccond week of the show it was used a tiny bit and managed to creep to about 900 if I remember correctly. Such a beautiful song. :wub:
