Have to give Mollie and Rochelle credit for being the only ones to do radio promo so far. Rochelle's tweet and call in to Capital seemed to generate quite a bit of buzz on Twitter as well.

Rochelle is the hype Quen!

I'm assuming we're going to hear 'Bigger' today?

Each to their own really, I guess.

I thought they said last week it'd be Saturday with the mailer?

Rochelle is such a boss, really.

They just said "next week". Could be today, but I'm expecting it tomorrow.

I don't really listen to Capital, so I don't know their patterns, but they haven't play NGU today, do they usually start hammering closer to release or do they start hammering as soon as a song goes onto the playlist?

Maybe if people have Twitter, they could tweet Capital to play the song?

What ever happened to this :(The mailer said it would be this week.

I really wanted to hear Rochelle's phone call. <_<

She would put on the accent she used in the hotel room video on Youtube so we know it wouldn't be her, cannot find the link

UK TV Airplay 24

This is really taking off on TV! Hopefully it can continue to move up 2-3 spots a day. Disco Love stalled around #20 prior to release.

With any luck, it might become VIP Track of the Week at some point. Hopefully next week to boost it into the top 10.

Hopefully it'll go to 22 or higher tomorrow. 'Disco Love' went 41-22 so if this can do 36-22 or higher it'll be good.

I realised that 'Disco Love' didn't show up in radio airplay until 2 weeks from this point (at 54...) so all it not lost for 'Not Giving Up' - with a bit of promo and a late playlisting from Radio 1, we could get another top ten. Hopefully Capital will start playing NGU on shows other than Marvin's evening show.

It's pathetic that the likes of Burn, Wake Me Up, Counting Stars, Roar, Trumpets, Let Me Go and Let Her Go are still being hammered by radio while all these fresh new songs (not just The Sats) are struggling.

Radio and the charts are so stale and slow. Who wants to bet that Not Giving Up (and Nasty/Into The Blue/Last Night etc) will all be gone from the top 40 before 'Dark Horse', 'Rather Be' and 'Happy' even leave the top 20?

Pixie Lott, Enrique and Flo Rida have all suffered due to even worse airplay than the saturdays so I think the sats are coping really well even if airplay is not as strong as WBU this time round. If they all can go top 10, surely NGU will go too

'Nasty' only went to #118 on radio. :o

With 1,000 spins - quite a lot for something that didn't go top 40 on airplay but that's managing. Judging by pre-orders NGU is connecting with buyers better so that will certainly go at least #8 (hopefully #3!) :cheer:
