February 26, 201412 yr The BBC are a weird lot. It's weird to think a group of them sit there weekly deciding what'll be a hit and what won't be. They wouldn't playlist Britney during "Femme Fatale" because they didn't think they'd be hit worthy, as I pointed out to them, she had two of her biggest radio hits in the USA during that era. They seem to have the old fashioned approach that if one single flops, the rest well. But sadly in the digital day and age, the public will decide amongst themselves what singles will be, and the radios need to be on top of those.

Don't forget they only ever B-listed 'Picking Up The Pieces' and I remember the week it entered the chart they were short on time for the chart show and PUTP was the song they cut short to save time :lol: I mean I understand her sound was a bit more adult than in the past but still, I can only assume she pissed them off somehow.
