March 20, 201412 yr If GM is around 23k ahead (and increasing by the day) this is more than a 'front loaded' thing for GM. These are bonafide solid sales. KMs are def. more front loaded and I can't see how she'll get this major boost next week esp w/ such an under-performing first single. How on earth could any kind of 'promo' regardless of the show, venue etc.. make up 20k+ difference in sales? Just being objective/realistic. If he was barely ahead by a few thousand different story. Again, he keeps increasing while she's flat-lining. I positively thought she either had it or it would be suuper close. never thought he would show up this super strong. Dunno what new big releases are next week but if it's GM vs. KM again I think GM has it in the bag for a 2nd week while KM may actually fall well below #2. we know he is going to get number one since Monday... but Kylie is still selling well with no promo of her album.... yes she has been on the Voice but no mention of her album yet etc or single to be honest.... George is huge. I don't understand why anyone wouldn't think he wouldn't sell loads and loads? He has done loads of promo on radio, TV adverts etc and the album been on pre-order for 2 months...women and men love him of all ages....

Heck he didn't even go to his own album launch a few weeks back. Also, worth noting that there is no NEW material on this album, just a selection of covers and old songs.

The one about George having loads of promo whereas Kylie hasn't started hers yet is nonsense even without mentioning her new album being on one of Saturday nights biggest shows each week since the start of the yr is massive promo IMO! I have no reasons.... Kylie has a very niche following these days, but to be fair apart from Fever, her albums don't usually sell millions! so a 30k start is pretty satisfactory... people just piss me off saying the era is over when it is a 1st week release... George far more mainstream still and his songs on this album and he himself attract a much larger spectrum so far....... so credit to him. You seem to think that because I have Kylie in my username that I am one of these weird Kylie fans who think she rules the world.... far from it.......
