March 20, 201412 yr do not worry about the ITunes album charts..... dropping 1 position there is nothing.... the album sales are all about Physicals.
March 20, 201412 yr Human League #12: "Don’t You Want Me, which is the UK's 24th biggest selling single of all-time, re-entered the Official Singles Chart midweeks at Number 21 yesterday (March 19). According to the Official Charts Company’s latest sales data, it has climbed a further nine places overnight, and is currently at Number 12. Should its current sales momentum continue, Don’t You Want Me will be The Human League’s first Top 10 single since Tell me When, which peaked at Number 6 in January 1995." http://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/t...t-20-years-2835
March 20, 201412 yr Great to see Human League doing well. The song is iconic to be fair and never loses it's place in pop history.

I don't agree with this comment - IMO it shouldn't be called their first since whenever, as that should only apply to new songs, or at least ones that've never reached T10 before.
March 20, 201412 yr and according to twitter (here and here, posted just after the Human League update): 01 Duke Dumont 02 Route 94 05 Little Mix 08 Katy Perry 09 Enrique 13 A Great Big World 16 Avicii 17 Tiesto

March 20, 201412 yr Author 32.9k - George Michael 20.1k - Kylie Minogue So George has sold 7.4k and Kylie has sold 3.2k since yesterday - which means they are on track for 55k and 30k, not taking into account any boosts from promotion.
March 20, 201412 yr So George has sold 7.4k and Kylie has sold 3.2k since yesterday - which means they are on track for 55k and 30k, not taking into account any boosts from promotion. And Kylie's saved all her promo for the second half of the week. Not always the best idea!
March 20, 201412 yr I really think I underestimated GM! Does he still have that many fans in the UK?! Good for him (I'm a GM fan). If on track to selling 55K without any promo, just imagine had he nabbed an ITV special or something (like Buble always seems to do come Xmas time)... GM could've easily beaten Pharrell's 70K opening sales. I have to say as a GM fan, I'm impressed and happy for him. Sad I can't 'celebrate' because he's the reason KMO will come in at #2!
March 20, 201412 yr Also what K promo is remaining now other than the Sports Relief spot (and I hope she sings ITB, and not Sexercise or EFY as rumoured). I really don't count that MasterCard Priceless concert as any big thing because those secret events don't get the kind of buzz a TV spot garners. My guess with the Rocnation strategy is perhaps start slow/low and then kick up the promo for the next single?
March 20, 201412 yr Kylie's performing "Beautiful" with Enrique on The Voice on March 29th, and then doing Graham Norton's TV chat show in April.
March 20, 201412 yr Kylie's performing "Beautiful" with Enrique on The Voice on March 29th, and then doing Graham Norton's TV chat show in April. Shakira is also performing on that show. Other guests have been confirmed as OneRepublic and Jason Derulo performing on the first live show. The guests for the third and final live show are TBA.
March 20, 201412 yr 32.9k - George Michael 20.1k - Kylie Minogue George Michael is definitely pulling ahead now....
March 20, 201412 yr Kylie's performing "Beautiful" with Enrique on The Voice on March 29th, and then doing Graham Norton's TV chat show in April. Those I knew. I was referring to the "And Kylie's saved all her promo for the second half of the week" comment you made. I don't know of any 2nd half week promos other than Sports Relief.
March 20, 201412 yr If GM is around 23k ahead (and increasing by the day) this is more than a 'front loaded' thing for GM. These are bonafide solid sales. KMs are def. more front loaded and I can't see how she'll get this major boost next week esp w/ such an under-performing first single. How on earth could any kind of 'promo' regardless of the show, venue etc.. make up 20k+ difference in sales? Just being objective/realistic. If he was barely ahead by a few thousand different story. Again, he keeps increasing while she's flat-lining. I positively thought she either had it or it would be suuper close. never thought he would show up this super strong. Dunno what new big releases are next week but if it's GM vs. KM again I think GM has it in the bag for a 2nd week while KM may actually fall well below #2. Edited March 20, 201412 yr by JK1
March 20, 201412 yr Kylie promo........ Sport Relief - She is singing Especially for You and then later in the night singing Into The Blue Urmm..... Live Voice show on Saturday..... Wouldn't be surprised if sings Into The Blue also or at least a little promo then later on Saturday the BBC Voice team are filming her gig at GAY nightclub.......so expect that to be shown in snippets.... she also will be heavily featured on the Voice daily weekday shows with Zoe Ball starting on Monday each night right up until the final. Also has Graham Norton 4th April... I expect Chatty Man too...... maybe a spot on Britain's got talent live shows (if in country) that will do me for now...
