Good point. I think the inclusion of "ARTPOP", "Venus" and "MANiCURE" means they won't become future singles. Well, "Gypsy" and "Sexxx Dreams" are the only two remaining songs with single potential anyway. Even then, the latter would be very risky. "Gypsy" is the only safe single choice.

I'm still not sold on this as a single, but this is definitely her best video since 'Telephone' so that's something!

It pretty much clears the field for GYPSY, IF the label will fund its release!

Can we just draw a line under these personal attacks now? There's going to be huge fans and huge haters (who probably would have more fun not visiting here in all honesty, but they're obviously allowed here if they so wish and we WELCOME differing opinions on her work).

 

Comments like "A pig in lipstick is still a pig" are asking for a reaction though and whilst valid on an open forum, i'm sure T Boy can understand that it was perhaps not the most "adult" way of constructing a post. But again each to their own, i just think there's much better ways of spending time than constantly being negative just for being negatives sake.

 

Not naming names, but don't rise to any hate, and equally as important don't incite hatred just to get a reaction.

Regina and T Boy please drop it now, I will lock this thread if you don't and that is really what I don't want to do. Constructive criticism has been made before your posts and wasn't met with a bad response. But it's obvious if you make unreasonable baiting posts you are going to get a backlash and going O/T and making this a hate Kath thread/personal dig thread. It is very unpleasant for members and guests to read.

 

If I can just underline what the Gaga mods have said here and end any hostility between BOTH sides that'd be great. I appreciate this is a busy and exciting time for the Gaga forum and emotions are probably running high but do try and accept constructive criticism everyone. I've only skim-read the last few pages so I'm not the best-qualified to say whether they were inflammatory or not but let's just forget they existed.

 

Conversely, there's NO need to bait the fans at this time and if you have a personal problem with one of the posters here take it to PM rather than messing up the thread with it. I don't care to know if Regina/T Boy/Griff have a vendetta against Kath but try and play nice people and end such silly things. Kath has put a huge amount of work into this forum and given it's the most active artist forum on the board she's hardly a bad moderator, even if she can seem overly passionate about Gaga sometimes.

Her best video in a long time. The only negative is that I HATE the Real Housewives cameo, they look so awkward miming Venus holding the instruments, don't see the point in that whatsoever.

For all those complaining about the housewives part and the minecraft scene; it wouldn't be a Gaga video if there weren't any awkward moments. These will be remembered, just like the swan scene in APPLAUSE :heart:

I think it's her best video and one of the best music videos I've seen in my life, if not the best. The beggining is amazing with her trying to get up and make it to the castle, then when Venus started it was a nice surprise, then G.U.Y. and all those scenes omg she's so hot... I loved the story, the looks, EVERYTHING about the video. Already watched it so many times, but all I can say is, thank you Gaga for this and sorry for having doubted of you during the past months, it was worth every day of waiting. :cheer:
