Where did you hear this? I thought the DVD of videos was going to be exclusive to the Tour Edition? :o

The youtube description implied so

To celebrate The Saturdays' Greatest Hits this August, featuring all the singles and 3 new tracks, plus all the videos on one DVD, the girls are embarking on a nationwide tour

Unless I read it wrong, this implies the DVD will be included regardless?

(If I read it the wrong way, I blame my language  )

I see! You're right, that implies the DVD will be available on the generally released version.

Hmm, I wonder what makes the Tour Edition special then? Ahh well we'll find out eventually. :kink:

That megamix is so good. Devastated at no 'My Heart Takes Over' though! :( Such a powerful, emotional and gorgeous song. Really should have been a 'Someone Like You' sized hit! :snif:

Glad someone else finds it a devastating turn! They better do it justice on the tour ^_^

I totally agree with all the MHTO love! I don't understand the HATE!! :(
When listening to the Megamix and at the part where If This Is Love is played, I feel so proud of them and literally smile. Its such a fantastic track

I'm addicted to the megamix. I think it's had a lot of care taken to it! I love the 'Not Giving Up' part, I'm so glad they gave it a decent section of the megamix to that song, despite being a commercial flop, it really is one of their best singles, and the video really looks very striking compared to all the others when you watch the megamix. Also enjoy that they've snuck Frankie's Not Giving Up bridge into the end of All Fired Up.

They really are a disastrously underrated group, they deserve to smash with Greatest Hits, because they do have some great hits. Keeping everything crossed.

The megamix is amazing.

Although, I thought 'Issues' was really lazy and just off. Clearly they know it's one of their biggest hits so they wanted to snuck that one in, but it just didn't sound alright. 30 Days or Forever Is Over would have sounded better after 'Higher.

This I will never understand, tracks like Higher are up there with some of the best girl anthems of the last decade and a half to be fair   :???:

Issues is always there go to song because they all say it was a good time in the band for them when I really just don't rate the hype -_- #ScrapIssues #JusticeForForeverIsOver

My prediction for this album: It gets released on a quiet week, Is number 1 in the midweeks, we modest buy acceptable sales. The UK wakes up on Friday morning to see that Adele has released her new album Beyonce-style.

I can't get enough of this megamix; they've really released some of the most incredible girl band singles of the 21st century. Hurricane, for some reason I love the transition between Higher, Issues, Gentleman and Ego. My favorite part. :)

I wonder if it'll be included for purchase on the digital EP of What Are You Waiting For. That'd be amazing.

#1 in the midweeks? We've got stiff competition from Richard & Adam remember.

Who?

Rihanna is another who may drop an overnight album, watch out girls! The megamix was on fresh Friday tunes on ChartShow TV, caught the last few minutes
If they already have the Megamix on TV then they should put the pre-order up on iTunes for the album. The earlier it's up the more sales it will probably get.
If Una is right and the lead is a "banger" when it's aired then they'll follow through with a preorder link after that, possibly?

I think both will go up monday, or at least the single with the album at most a week later

There's no point putting it up for pre-order now as it'll only be fans pre-ordering anyways.

I'm still curious to see whether they will stick the megamix on the single or album or not at all

I think it'll be on the single, they would have told us if they were including it on the album wouldn't they? It better not be on the album taking up a space -_-

I don't think the megamix would be on the album. The concept of a megamix is to encourage GH album sales, so they're almost always released separately or included on a single's track listing, to raise awareness.

Maybe they'll do what Girls Aloud did and have it as an iTunes pre-order exclusive with the 'What Are You Waiting For' EP? I'd prefer it if it was always available though.

If the megamix is on TV promoting The Saturdays back catalogue of hits then having the Greatest Hits immediately available for pre-order would be a good move. People might want to pre-order it if they see the megamix on TV and once they realise it's not available yet they'll probably forget all about it. The megamix on TV is GREAT to attract casual fans as it has most of their singles in a short time frame. These casual fans might, however, miss The Sats during release week promo and not be aware they even have a Greatest Hits out by the time August rolls round.
