I read Michael Buble has a BBC show like Adele did last week (I assume it airs on release week) so that only secures his chances of #1 more.

It's FAR too soon to consider 'Perfect Illusion' as a flop in this day and age. It's very rare that there is an instant hit anymore unless you're Drake, Rihanna or Justin Bieber. Under performance? I guess you could say that, but that's completely down to what you were expecting in the first place, it's doing about as well as I thought it would atm (I am fully expecting it to climb in the coming weeks though).

 

There's an avid interest in her, despite the "under performance" of her single. Her album should still do 120k+ with ease in Q4 US (I wanna go higher, but 2016 has been surprisingly off for a lot of predictions haha), so I'd guess that would be enough to secure her a number 2 album, behind Buble.

I can't - it looks like a flop indie cover by like Corrine Bailey Rae or Sandi Thom or something even Natasha Bedingfield would do!!

 

 

I still think it looks like a cover for a flop indie album or an attempt to mimick Born to Die. Don't think this cover will excite audiences at all.

Oh she has no chance against Buble in the UK, he's such a casual bandwagon buy here. I hope she can get #1 in America though.

And Elvis according to Manickangaroo although Amazon still has him listed as 14th. Remember how big his first album with the RPO was last year? No.1 then No.2 at Xmas and over a million sales now. He'll be at least No.2, could even beat Buble. So Ga Ga can expect to be 3 at the best.

Bublés 2013 album debuted 63,000 less than ARTPOP apparently, so maybe she has a small chance? :angel:

I also should expect Gaga to hold up better than what 'Glory' did. @codemeister - Gaga is getting airplay for a start haha.

it all smacks of being very 'real' and 'authentic' and almost the other side of gaga but equally heavy and try-hard. idk where i stand

 

at this stage it seems to be a battle of 'real' music ronson vs what fans want redOne
