Chappell is such a genuine stan! I have to say as well I’ll kinda forever be a Joanne defender! It’s almost always ranked at the bottom of most people’s lists of their favourite Gaga albums but I hon

  • I was there and loved the speech so much ❤️❤️❤️ She also mentioned that she is revisiting Joanne, because she has to cancel the JWT gig in Sthlm.

LOVE that artwork, really shows that less is sometimes more!

Not sure we'll get a second single before the album, but we'll probably get some instant grats?

Agree with everyone, the artwork is beautiful. At least she's got something right so far this era 🤓
I hope so. I can't be doing with PI the only track released from this album. Otherwise we're looking at a 'Glory' chart run of #2 > #41 > OUT.

America is where it really matters for her though. Initially anyway. It NEEDS a good Billboard opening.

The art is pretty good. It's not amazing but while it sounds backwards to say it, for Gaga's standards I think it's great. I realised after looking at this that I haven't liked any of her album art since 2009 barring Born This Way: The Collection (stunning) so I'm happy to appreciate this, as I do usually like her single covers.

The album title leaves me a little bit cool but seeing the reasoning for it does make it a lot better and something of a statement. I think this will be a really interesting era.

it all smacks of being very 'real' and 'authentic' and almost the other side of gaga but equally heavy and try-hard. idk where i stand

at this stage it seems to be a battle of 'real' music ronson vs what fans want redOne

I still think it looks like a cover for a flop indie album or an attempt to mimick Born to Die. Don't think this cover will excite audiences at all.
TRACK LISTING SO FAR:

• Perfect Illusion

• Ay Yo

• Sinner's Prayer (Father John Misty has some kind of relevance on this, idk whether he just worked on it or features)

• Joanne

• John Wayne

• Hey Girl (feat. Florence Welch)

these defo suggest a more low key album then

tho the father john misty track may be a future house banga??

released on the same day as buble!!!! oh oh...

Yep, I'd imagine so.

This is gonna be Britney vs. Barbs all over again :drama: (Not gonna be close)

I read Michael Buble has a BBC show like Adele did last week (I assume it airs on release week) so that only secures his chances of #1 more.
Doubt she'll move it either as it'll be a simultaneous release and she carws about the US chart.
