April 6, 201412 yr I am pretty sure Poker Face will be an enduring classic I don't know if it's just my personal opinion creeping in but I'd say it already markedly isn't. It's been completely overshadowed by 'Bad Romance'. Of course it is probably better remembered than the Noisettes song and it sold a lot more overall and yadda yadda but still Noisettes really should have got that #1. Not like Gaga would have been denied the #1 by it, as she had another week at #1 the week before anyway :P

April 6, 201412 yr Bad Romance is one of those songs that I don't know is timeless or dated. It just sounded like nothing else at that time.

April 6, 201412 yr Also (I know this is three posts in a row), that Noisettes song was so big around my parts. Nearly everyone I knew loved it. Weird how you never hear it anymore.
April 6, 201412 yr Poker Face will not be an enduring classic. It sounds dated even now. I still disagree, but only time will tell. I agree that Bad Romance is a better song and still sounds fresh, but that isn't always what makes a classic.
April 6, 201412 yr Hello B-) 2013 1- NEED U (100%)- Duke Dumont Ft A*M*E (92,179) O M G  This is such a tune, a lot better than 'I Got U' imo although that is brilliant too - so glad to see his one-hit-wonder status removed! 2- JUST GIVE ME A REASON- Pink Featuring Nate Ruess (52,637) :puke: [/michael] 3- MIRRORS- Justin Timberlake (41,144) 4- WHAT ABOUT US?- The Saturdays Featuring Sean Paul (39,810) 5- POMPEII- Bastille (39,516) 6- LET’S GET READY TO RHUMBLE- PJ & Duncan (36,476) 7- HEY PORSCHE- Nelly (33,486) 8- FEEL THIS MOMENT- Pitbull Ft Christina Aguilera (30,783) 2009 1- POKER FACE- Lady Gaga (55,318) One of her best ever! I do think it's relatively forgotten in favour of 'Bad Romance' though 2- DON’T UPSET THE RHYTHM (GO BABY GO)- Noisettes (47,391) 3- JAI HO (YOU ARE MY DESTINY)- A.R Rahman Ft Pussycat Dolls (44,128) 4- RIGHT ROUND- Flo Rida Ft Ke$ha (37,875) 5- HALO- Beyonce (35,085) 6- SHAKE IT- Metro Station (27,581) 7- IN FOR THE KILL- La Roux (25,285) 10- DEAD AND GONE- T.I Ft Justin Timberlake (22,080) 2004 2- YEAH- Usher Ft Ludacris & Lil Jon (35,367) 4- CHA CHA SLIDE- DJ Casper (28,528) 5- LEFT OUTSIDE ALONE- Anastacia (28,303) I remember this staying in the chart for ages (and wanting it to leave), Anastacia would kill to have that kind of relevance again  7- TOXIC- Britney Spears (14,234) 9- THROUGH THE WIRE- Kanye West (12,282) 1999 1- FLAT BEAT- Mr Oizo (184,000) 2- MY NAME IS- Eminem (143,000) 6- BABY ONE MORE TIME- Britney Spears (86,000)* 8- YOU GET WHAT YOU GIVE- New Radicals (52,000)* 10- WE LIKE TO PARTY- Vengaboys (43,000)* I'm ready for my life to be funked up :whip: And I hope Frankie Knuckles can go top 30!
April 6, 201412 yr "Actual Sam Bailey"! I like to see she's adopted that term, it's hilarious! -- Do You Want To Build A Snowman? LOVE.
April 6, 201412 yr Haha, af is this made it in! A film soundtrack hasn't had such an impact on the singles chart for many years, I didn't realise Frozen would be so huge when it first came out!
