April 6, 201412 yr I had no idea Pharrell produced this. The funny thing is that when I heard the track on the radio today, I was thinking "gosh, even Paloma started being inspired by those Pharrell sounds" lol. I really like Can't Rely On You though.
April 6, 201412 yr Paloma's instrumental is so much 'Blurred Lines' a-like! Does it sample that? It's better that Blurred Lines anyway! (I don't know where the world is coming to!) Pharrell produced it so it's not a surprise  aaaand ninja'd :P Edited April 6, 201412 yr by Dircadirca
April 6, 201412 yr It's been top 30 on iTunes for a while so I'd say no :P Yay for 'Can't Rely On You' returning. Growing to really like it now. I thought re-entries were counted as new entries at the start, so I can't think what else has dropped out, I guess Frankie Knuckles? I've grown to like this song a lot, deserved a lot better than that initial chart run (Paloma that is)
April 6, 201412 yr Sorry didn't mean to clog up the last page, not sure why it posted four times. Picking Up The Pieces is still my favourite Paloma song!

Signed to the Atlantic-distributed Poe Boy that year, he recorded Mail on Sunday, which was released in March of 2008. "Low," featuring T-Pain, was the album's lead single; it reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100. A year later he returned with the album R.O.O.T.S. (Route of Overcoming the Struggle), featuring the massive club hit "Round." Only 1 Flo, Pt. 1 appeared in 2010 with some tracks produced by dance music star David Guetta. On his 2012 release, Wild Ones, productions from Dr. Luke, Avicii, and Axwell would continue along this dance direction, with the album offering up two big hits, "Whistle" and "Good Feeling." - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): 2008 02 Low (Flo Rida Feat. April 6, 201412 yr Last week for Flo Rida please! Why couldn't people just buy the Muse version instead, or the original.
April 6, 201412 yr Can't Rely On You is the most funky song in the chart!!! I think that'll belong to Funk My Life Up by Paolo Nutini later on. ;)
April 6, 201412 yr Has Tove Lo been knocked out as well as Klaxons then? Was looking forward to hearing two fresh new entries at the start rather than some random Frozen track and tracks that have been here ages :/ My thoughts exactly. I was so counting on The Klaxons :( Luckily we at least have Tove Lo! :)
April 6, 201412 yr 33 47 03 Tove Lo Featuring Hippie Sabotage Stay High Truth Serum EP | 2014 http://a3.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music6/v4/c2/75/37/c275372c-a0dd-9e1e-44c9-17be8bee8ee5/14UMGIM00422.170x170-75.jpg Chart Run: 59-xx-47-33 Release date: 03-03-2014 Format: Digital EP Label: Universal Music AB Sales: 10k+ Video here: xzQF6e94m6Q Biography Swedish singer/songwriter Tove Lo was born Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson on October 29, 1987 in a suburb of Stockholm. Beginning to write poetry and short stories at a young age, she went on to study at the famous Rytmus Musikergymnasiet — a music-oriented high school comparable to the U.K.'s BRIT School — where she met and befriended the future members of Icona Pop. After singing in the band Tremblebee, made up of students from the school, and a spell playing one-man-and-his-dog nightclub gigs as frontwoman of a math rock band, she decided to focus on her own songs, spending six months in her shed studio working on a demo. Upon the occasion of a party celebrating Icona Pop's first record deal, she used the opportunity to foist the demo on a staff member at their label, leading to a publishing deal with Warner Chappell and a trip to L.A. to work with fellow Swede and pop songwriting/production supremo Max Martin. Lo gradually developed her own idiosyncratic style of epic, electronically tinged songwriting with raw, brutally honest lyrics, influenced as much by '80s pop as by contemporary EDM. In 2012 she self-released her debut single, "Love Ballad," a catchy, beat-driven pop track that showcased her powerful voice. It was followed in 2013 by "Habits," a dark breakup anthem that generated such Internet buzz that it led to a deal with Universal. "Habits" and its follow-up, "Out of Mind," which was much in the same vein, appeared on her debut EP for the label, Truth Serum, in 2014. - iTunes Chart history (Year peak title): Tove Lo 2014 33 Stay High (Tove Lo Feat. Hippie Sabotage) -NAS- Hippie Sabotage 2014 33 Stay High (Tove Lo Feat. Hippie Sabotage)
