You may recognise the vocal sample from Kanye West's 'Bound 2' and remember this band from the song 'Lassitude' on DJ Fresh's Kryptonite album. Big new entries will come from The Vamps' with third single 'Last Night' and Iggy Azalea's 'Fancy' - the latter artist has improved peaks with each single and this single (accompanied by Charli XCX of 'I Love It' fame) looks set to continue that pattern. Expect big climbs for Idina Menzel's 'Let It Go' thanks to the DVD release of Frozen and Paloma Faith's 'Can't Rely On You' after her performance on The Voice final. Oh, and The Saturdays have another flop single in the making with 'Not Giving Up'. :D Following his debut at #1 with 'The Man' last week, Aloe Blacc seems to be the main competitor for the #1 spot from the new releases this week. Kaiser Chiefs, Paloma Faith, George Michael, Sam Bailey and John Legend seem likely to follow in no particular order. April 8, 201412 yr The Saturdays are currently at number 9 on sales of almost 10k. That's from my own source rather than anything I can point to that's 'official' but I trust it totally. I hope it's enough to keep them in the top 15 by Sunday.

April 8, 201412 yr Not Giving Up #09 on midweeks with less than 200 sales from 10,000. I must admit it's doing a lot better than expected, but with the way their sales usually falling off drastically towards the end of the week, I don't see it remaining in the top 10 :cry:
April 8, 201412 yr Can't wait to see sales for Sigma tomorrow, I'm thinking it could sell 125k+ by Sunday Top 40 should see a nice clear out, just hope by some miracle that Jakwob can scrape in to the chart though its stalled on iTunes at 55 which is a shame :( Albums looking very quiet, Kaiser Chiefs won't be number one so Aloe should get it easily but sales won't be great maybe around 25k max?

That song was sampled in 'Bound 2', which was then in turn sampled in 'Nobody To Love' (which first appeared on the Internet as 'Bound 2 Bootleg') :P The Brenda Lee sample was actually much more prominent in 'Bound 2', though sadly that song never really took off, peaking at #55. It did get to #1 in a way though if you count the fact its parent album hit #1 on the albums chart!

April 8, 201412 yr I thought The Vamps would do a 'Wild Heart' again and get #3, sort of glad they'll get top 2 on lock. The Saturdays really desere top 10 with this but there's no way they'll keep it, but they've still done so much better than I expected to even be in contention for top 15. Good for Paloma and Kylie in the albums, the latter I thought would drop out of the top 20 this week!
