April 9, 201412 yr 'For the First Time In Forever' was a new entry at #38 in the mids then, does this mean R1 played it? (I bet they didn't :()
April 9, 201412 yr Quiet sales period?? I'm pretty sure his post was related to the album chart
April 9, 201412 yr Gary Barlow still sitting in the top 15  Top 20 is safe for him now on his 20th week of chart life. Sophie Ellis Bextor still top 40, both Sophie and Gary have far exceeded my expectations of their sales performance.
April 9, 201412 yr I'm pretty sure his post was related to the album chart Yes it was. Edited April 10, 201412 yr by Common Sense
April 9, 201412 yr Surprised that Christina Perri's album is underperforming, she strikes me as an album artist rather then a singles artist but the singles seem to better then her albums, strange
April 9, 201412 yr Good to see Kylie at 12. should stay top 20 now this week. It may struggle while she is in Australia, but should make a comeback in mid May.
April 9, 201412 yr Wow at Sigmas sales, 72k already :) Could see 125-130k by Sunday, thank god for Sigma from preventing The Vamps from a number one though I expect them to slip to 3 by the end of the week

April 9, 201412 yr Could see 125-130k by Sunday, thank god for Sigma from preventing The Vamps from a number one though I expect them to slip to 3 by the end of the week Wishful thinking there. Thankfully, they should remain at #2 cause they have a huge lead and aren't freefalling on iTunes like they did with Wild Heart :D
April 9, 201412 yr I'm pretty sure his post was related to the album chart I don't think it was, cos he was talking about John Legend doing 50k, which is probably what he'll sell in the singles chart this week. EDIT: Yes I was. Oh, my bad then. But John Legend was never gonna shift anywhere near 50k albums this week  Edited April 9, 201412 yr by Mango
April 9, 201412 yr Wishful thinking there. Thankfully, they should remain at #2 cause they have a huge lead and aren't freefalling on iTunes like they did with Wild Heart :D Which is a shame, cos Wild Heart is WITH EASE the best of their three singles to date
April 9, 201412 yr Which is a shame, cos Wild Heart is WITH EASE the best of their three singles to date  They go in release order from best to worst IMO but that doesn't mean I hate Last Night, it's still a GREAT song. All three are personal chart #1s of mine :kink:
April 9, 201412 yr It's a decent enough song, I've bought all of their EP's for the decent selection of b-sides and extras that they always have on offer. I prefer their cover of What About Love to Last Night itself. The cover of Cecilia is good fun too! That said, I'm glad that Sigma is set for #1, it's a tune and has a great melody, even if it is from a sample. So the 'another tuneless dance #1' argument doesn't apply to Nobody To Love. I've loved all of the dance #1's this year, long may they continue!

Totally disagree here don't mind sigma but it's just Bound 2 with a drum & bass beat IMO whereas the original was the one full of soul & melody by the Brillant Charlie Wilson! Give me that everyday!
April 9, 201412 yr Everyone has been swept away by Tove Los climb up the chart today they have missed Magic climbing into the top 20 again due to the video effect
