May 9, 201411 yr Oh my god, Helene Fischer reading Germany's votes *.* FSR Rontvia REPRESENT (Sanna is, for Sweden).
May 9, 201411 yr Author ESC United have tweeted: Azerbaijan apparently refused to give 8 points to Armenia in the fake voting. They kept saying Greece #eurovisionAzerbaijan refused to give 8 points to Armenia in the fake voting so Jon Ola Sand had to do it #eurovision Apparently the spokesperson kept saying 8 points to Greece and when repeatedly told those votes were wrong they just made Jon Ola Sand read the votes instead! :o
May 9, 201411 yr ^ surely they should get in trouble for this ? That country gets away with too much in this contest. Annnnd I hope they don't early announce the winner as that is the worst thing to ever happen to the contest. Is this the ebu or host broadcaster's choice.
May 9, 201411 yr This happens the night before? You know it's fake points right??? This is the final rehearsal, it's a complete dry run for the contest to make sure everything will work perfectly on the night. That includes voting. They have to run through a full voting simulation to check the scoreboard works and all the graphics and timing are spot on. There is literally not a live (non-sporting) event broadcast anywhere in the world where a full rehearsal like this isn't run. There is absolutely tonnes to check! Today I got an email inviting me to be part of the audience or take part in the dry run for the Swimming at the Commonwealth Games. They are doing a full broadcast rehearsal in the venue including medal ceremonies literally just before the games begins.
May 10, 201411 yr ESC United have tweeted: Apparently the spokesperson kept saying 8 points to Greece and when repeatedly told those votes were wrong they just made Jon Ola Sand read the votes instead! :o I guess that was Sabina Babayeva for Azerbaijan who's announcing the real votes? Disappointing...
May 10, 201411 yr Author In today's dress rehearsal, Azerbaijan have caused more drama during the voting! And this time we have a video! Jea0I9cqiQs Sabina should have at least chosen a country that was in the final, she must have been a fan of Kasey!
May 10, 201411 yr dat impact :o #justice4kasey etc. Really though, they need to just behave. I wouldn't particularly miss them if they were to leave.
May 10, 201411 yr Are the countries they say they are 'giving points' to just selected from a random draw?
May 10, 201411 yr Author Yes, I believe the producers just give each spokesperson a random set of points to give out to test out the voting process. I assume they keep telling Azerbaijan to give points to Armenia to see what would happen if such a situation happened tonight!
May 10, 201411 yr Thankfully that situation has no chance of arising. Didn't they take people who voted for Armenia into questioning in the past?
May 10, 201411 yr So they play at being a f**ktard on purpose? BAN THEM. Edited May 10, 201411 yr by AltheGreat
May 10, 201411 yr Author Also, if anyone can't wait to see what the UK performance looks like on TV, here is a video from today's dress rehearsal. Molly does have 'golden rain' at the end of the performance but they haven't used it in this rehearsal so don't worry, it will be there tonight. 5TXDu2b3-ZY
May 10, 201411 yr Author A couple of people on ESC Forum are saying that Sabina is deliberately given the wrong votes compared to what the producers have so they can rehearse such a scenario, but the fact Armenia was mentioned last night leads me to believe it was a similar situation today.
May 10, 201411 yr Nice to see the map back showing the position of the country before going to their spokesperson, I always liked it when they did that. :heehee:
