Posted April 24, 201411 yr Twitter meltdown tonight, with Liam Gallagher's cyptic tweets, ending in spelling out Oasis. No word just yet, but I don't even think he is likely to be able to troll his fans that much. What do we think? Reunion special? Last Glastonbury headliner? World Tour? I can't even believe it's not five years since they broke up, it seems longer.
April 24, 201411 yr Author I don't get it, Beady Eye are just doing so well for themselves! But they're nothing compared to Oasis.
April 24, 201411 yr Noel's album is supposedly almost finished so it would be odd timing. Would make for quite a samey set of Glastonbury headliners as well (although I'm just bitter because I don't get to work there).
April 24, 201411 yr I only ever read about Liam saying he'd like a reunion rather than Noel, who seems happy away from them, so I dunno if I can believe this until I hear from them both really. (Though I would definitely be up for this obviously) Oasis without Noel Gallagher? That's kinda what Beady Eye are in all fairness :P Edited April 24, 201411 yr by Krusty Wombat
April 30, 201411 yr But they're nothing compared to Oasis. most bands are nothing compared to oasis. btw, imo, Beady Eye are doing fine , with 2 very good albums and some songs that could stand proud next to the great oasis catalogue. finally no reunion but Liam tweets were definitely fun. 5 words and put the net and everyone on fire
May 5, 201411 yr There is more chance of Abdul Fareek making an entertaining and valid contribution to BuzzJack than Oasis reforming.
May 5, 201411 yr Oasis will reform when Liam/Noel Gallagher need the money. However, given that both of their post-Oasis endeavors have been relatively lucrative for them (albeit nowhere near Oasis levels), it's not likely to happen for some time.
May 7, 201411 yr Oasis will reform when Liam/Noel Gallagher need the money. However, given that both of their post-Oasis endeavors have been relatively lucrative for them (albeit nowhere near Oasis levels), it's not likely to happen for some time. Particularly if they can generate some extra royalties for themselves by initiating speculation of them re-forming
