May 10, 201411 yr Poland x1 San Marino x1 (Thought she deserved a vote after years of trying) Slovenia x1 Greece x1 and obviously... Sweden x3
May 10, 201411 yr I threw a vote towards Poland, Slovenia and Spain Damnit at my votes not turning into points for any :(
May 10, 201411 yr Voted for Finland, Hungary and The Netherlands tonight. Top tunes. In the semi I also voted for Norway and Belarus, but tonight I didn't feel as compelled to vote for them. Edited May 10, 201411 yr by Mattias
May 10, 201411 yr I voted: 3x Norway 2x The Netherlands 1x Hungary My mum voted: 1x The Netherlands 1x Sweden 1x United Kingdom
May 11, 201411 yr I voted for Austria and Italy (I sent messages)!! But i wanted to vote for Netherlands too.
May 11, 201411 yr Spain! I'm surprised that Ruth Lorenzo didn't conjure up more votes from the UK televote.
May 11, 201411 yr I didn't plan to vote but Conchita convinced me to vote… until San Marino performed and I thought she deserved my vote too. I figured out that Conchita would be big anyway so I gave my vote to San Marino in the end cause I knew she didn't stand a chance anyway. By the way, I had forgotten that there was a "jury" as well and this is the very last time I'm voting. People give their money thinking they can make the difference but in the end there is a jury f***ing up the public vote. This is SO unfair considering it isn't even explained during the night. I call it robbery.
May 11, 201411 yr It definitely was explained during the night, I don't think they'd be allowed to NOT mention it, for reasons you've mentioned. It is a shame the juries have quite so much power that they can push Poland (our top televote) out completely, but you can't have it all and there is more allowances for the """political voting""" that is always spoken about without the juries. On top of 'who did you vote for?' - I voted for Greece, I'm still baffled by it doing so badly. My two favourites flopping </3

Well I must have missed that part of the show where they explain it then (I watched it on French television). All the way through they were saying how important it was for people to vote and decide on their winner. That's bullshit then. Can you imagine if the judges opinions counted for 50% of the votes on the X Factor? People would be furious and would kill the show. No one is here for that. It makes the points are so irrevealant, like for example, I was happy to see Russia gives point to Ukraine or to Conchita, but now I don't even know if it means that Russian people supported them or if it's only down to the jury. I always find it interesting to see what country likes what songs, but it's meaningless if it doesn't even translate people's votes. Edited May 11, 201411 yr by Hayzayy
May 11, 201411 yr On eurovision.tv you can find all the split jury/televote rankings for each country. For France, Austria was 2nd on the televote and 4th with the jury, 2nd combined. San Marino was 23rd on the televote and 21st on the jury, 24th combined. Edited May 11, 201411 yr by AdamAloud
