I would rather it was an eviction, being immune for like 3 months is a bit much after one day... What if the public grow to absolutely hate who's immune or something, it's a bit much imo.

He's a bit of a contradiction because the last half of his VT wasn't polite, yet he said he's unusually polite. Bit of an oddball and I don't particularly like him BUT at least he's a different dynamic. Can see him being ostracised amongst this group of young'uns though.

There's surely more to him than this because otherwise he seems like an odd choice.

He seems quite dull and boring imo, a bit like a typical bloke you might meet on the street, yawn. He must have something more to him that made him be chosen, hmm.

He definitely looks like he'll be an interesting figure in the house. Kinda reminds me of Aaron who won one of the recent series but probably unlikely to get a BB romance.

I get a vague air of this also. His VT was quite clever at making him seem, as Liam said, like a normal bloke off the street. The BB audience love to support an underdog and as I said, I feel like he may be an outsider amongst the younger lot, which could see him go a long way, as I think there'll be a gameplan he's playing a lot more subtly than some of those who outed being a gameplayer in their VT's.

Goddamnit I had guessed the twist would be a straight pass to the final from the way Emma kept going on about how big it was but I never posted it :lol:.

 

I think it's a curse rather than a blessing really because fear of eviction/avoidance of nominations is fundamental to housemates' behaviour and their 'journey'. Also when that element is removed I don't think it'll lend itself to the growth of a strong fanbase as there's no cause to support. That said, I know John (somehow) ended up winning Celebrity Hijack with his immunity but over a three month period I can't see it working as well, although it depends on whoever's chosen obviously.

I think Ashleigh could be fun, I think she might be a bit Lauren Carré in that she's young, beautiful and quite bubbly.

She's incredibly pretty, as much as we all want bitches, I think she'll be nice for, yet again, another dynamic. A house full of bitches doesn't work, you need people like her. I think she'll go far aswell.

Seems like we're getting the really good housemates (minus Pauline, Kimberly and maybe one or two others) tonight. Perhaps deliberately so that competition is increased, Pauline is surely likey to choose someone from last night who she's gotten to know.
