You probably wanna go with "Kreng". You will get punched in the face with "Kutwijf" :kink:

Oh dear, no no. I don't want to regret that one in hindsight. You know my face belongs to me.

I managed to see most of the postcards for the semi final one acts yesterday as they were shown before each press conference but the YouTube videos have since been reuploaded without the postcard attached to the front. However, they seem to have forgotten about Georgia so you can still see an example of a postcard at the beginning of this video:

As I saw a lot of postcards, they are a really lovely concept and beautifully filmed as always. The Greek postcard is particularly nice when you see it as it sees Maria Elena visiting a school and I believe she is a teacher back in Greece and it all ties in very beautifully.

(Even though the video doesn't look like it works, click play and it will do - at least for now)

And we can now see what the on-screen graphics will look like:

Nice, quite minimalistic in comparison to some of the previous ones.

Here is another graphic image, really like how it emphasises the song title - perhaps more than the country itself is emphasised!

I don't think it looks as nice as some of the more recent ones - looks as if we've jumped back 10 years in graphic design
I like it a lot. The flags look gorgeous.

The opening ceremony is about to begin live on Eurovision.tv!!
Doesn't seem to be THAT many people there at the moment. At least compared to last year.
What really happens at the Opening Ceremony? The commentators don't even seem to have a clue what's going on, they keep saying Estonia are arriving when it's clearly Lithuania holding a Lithuanian flag.

Yeah that was quite embarrassing.

The opening ceremony is the artists 'arriving', posing for pics and answering questions~ Tis all~

NADAV IS SIXTEEN.

Yeah the commentators were pretty useless, and the camerawork was pretty poor too. After the first ten they missed nearly everyone entering the carpet! I'm sure last year they actually broadcast interviews and stuff, so not quite as good this year. Still great to see everyone though!

Maraaya were on screen five seconds and still stole the show with Marjetka not realising what everyone was waving at!

BOGGIE IS GROWING ON ME!

It's such a beautiful song, a little boring, but it's very nice.

I know I said the female commentator was awful earlier, but I've just been reading everyone's reaction on ESCForum.net and I've realised how hilariously car crash she was!

Constant objectifying of the pretty males of the competition, pronouncing the names wrong, mixing up countries, trying to speak french, repeating herself. And i only watched half of it :D

I'M SO SO SO SO FUCKING EXCITED ABOUT TOMORROW. :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

Will be watching at my friend w/benefits' place~ on a big screen tomorrow *.*

ESC Kaz have uploaded a fantastic video from the Opening Ceremony which has short and snappy interviews with every single artist I think, I can't think of anyone who was missed out! Don't be put off by the "fashion report" as it's not that fashion-focused. So if you haven't had a chance to watch all of the interviews over the last few weeks, I really recommend checking this video out if you get a chance so you can get a quick glimpse of everyone's personalities!

I need them ALL in the final!

I'm actually shocked that the absolute majority of them speak English so well! I understand the Scandi countries and such situation but all the Montenegros, Lithuanias and Macedonias too! So refreshing.
