'Jubel' catching up! :D If only it had been playlisted on Capital, it would be well ahead of Secondcity I think and on its way to #1.

 

I hope you realise that it 'catching up' just means it's reducing the amount by which Secondcity's pre-orders are racking up quicker than Klingande's. It's still getting further and further behind Secondcity up until the moment it overtakes. :P

 

Will we ever have a two + weeker number 1 again?

 

There was a 4 week #1 not that long ago. Also, the last time there was a stretch of 1 week #1s this long, it came to a close with a 6 week #1 (albeit with those 6 weeks interrupted by a 2 weeker).

I am skeptical on if she's singing live in that performance. Her voice doesn't sound live (even though it's far from a perfect vocal, she cracks a few times). Regardless, the whole "facing the wall" thing is so obnoxious.

 

The song is good though. And the little dancer girl is incredible.

I thought a similar thing, but when her voice cracks I was convinced it was live. It was the crack which seemed live and not pre-recorded, if that makes sense :lol: and she's well known for being such a good, live vocalist I think. So I have no doubts it was live.

 

Hopefully we see something like that on Britain's Got Talent or something (I highly doubt it though). Imagine if she did get such a massive hit out of this. Both her and Pharrell peaking a decade or so into their careers!

I was about to get annoyed at Wilkinson making 'Half Light' album-only, but on inspection, it seems he's just flat out deleted the entire album. Not sure if that was supposed to happen, kinda hope it wasn't just to serve him right :lol:

 

I see 'West Coast' has recovered a bit since R1 playlisted it, should still be on course to be a 4th top 10 hit for her.

It's Radio 1's track of the day today which will explain its position today but I think the pre order will continue to dominate I just hope if it does go to number one it can sell over 100k!

good progress for Jubel so far. Changes did very well to get to #3 without Capital fm support, looks like Jubel might do the same? (will probably drop off quite quickly unless Capital decide to start playing it though)

I have no idea why it's so high on pre-orders though. It's okay-ish, but far from his best song.
