Predicting both Ellie and Lana to be scraping for the top 10. Lana's been doing really well on pre-orders but never really got that last minute lift I'd have liked so I'm willing to believe she won't be huge. Ellie has obviously done really poorly for her standards but the song has been on pre-order for months and was ~#300 around the film's release as well as for the last week, so I imagine she's built up quite a few pre-orders in that time. She'll be pretty frontloaded though, I'm sure.

Ellie and Lana will both under-perform because the songs are not up to standard, simple!

 

West Coast is a complete snoreathon even by Lana's standards, and Beating Heart is mildly better but certainly nothing compared to the usual standard of her songs.

Chicane feat Senadee – No More I Sleep

 

This sounds like a rip-off "With or Without You". Chicane are amazing dance act but I don't want to believe that they lost their originality..

Just so everyone is aware, Janet Devlin isn't releasing her single until tomorrow so don't expect her to chart today!

Looks like a relatively active/interesting week - Both Klingande & SecondCity are wonderful, hopefully they can both be the top 2. Lana getting top 10 would be a great achievement for a song that doesn't sound like a commercial hit at all.

 

Twin Atlantic could also be heading for the top 20 it seems Ugh. I never thought it would happen, this song is like really bad as well. Make a Beast of Myself was just about OK, but they're really not a band I'd like to see anywhere near that high...
