October 17, 201410 yr I wasn't aware that T Boy had previously expressed the opinion that he liked that particular post of Pavel's. my comment was obviously not aimed at his particular interest in pav's post, there's no need for the sarcasm
October 17, 201410 yr There's nothing wrong with appreciating a negative post on a subject. yes i am fully aware of this, but the point i'm trying to make is that said poster only comes into this forum to either say or agree (basically post) something negative about jessie. you either like her or you don't, but consistently posting the same opinion in a thread about an artist can start to become a bit of a bore for other posters. by all means come in and state your opinion on something, but what he's doing is all in all basically saying "i can't stand this woman" with everything he says, whether he's that blunt about it or not.

Get a hobby please. You get similar things in almost every thread about artists who strongly divide opinion. Maroon 5 for example. You obviously can't handle people dissing your faves. So I'm not allowed to voice an opinion because you already know what it's going to be? Well then you and several others should abandon the thread too for the very same reason but you don't see me bleating on about it.
October 17, 201410 yr I like how you're telling him to get a hobby, when your hobby seems to be simply expressing how much you dislike Jessie J. What a wonderful hobby that is.
October 17, 201410 yr I like how you're telling him to get a hobby, when your hobby seems to be simply expressing how much you dislike Jessie J. What a wonderful hobby that is. I'm just puzzled as to why he chooses to be on my case for agreeing with a negative post than on the case of the person who actually posted the negative comment. As for why I may or may not enjoy sharing my dislike of Jessie J, it could have something to do with the amusing reactions to my comments. But seriously, you wouldn't get this much of a hard time for doing the same thing in a One Direction thread. I will refrain from giving my opinion on this artist in future since her fans, much like the woman herself, can't handle a little but of harmless shade.
October 17, 201410 yr there's no need for rudeness, but since you do insist in withering on about jessie, i'm by no means a huge jessie stan, however it is very boring to come into this thread and see basically the same comment about how much you dislike her on nearly every page. as for getting a hobby, i'm not the one scrolling through the thread of an artist i can't stand just to discuss how much i don't like them.
October 17, 201410 yr Really, T Boy? "I'm not allowed to voice my opinions on this awful creature on another site I frequent but I've always found them welcomed here." Nobody objects to your having an opinion, most of us share it for God's sake! It's just the mindless repetition that grates...

October 17, 201410 yr It's even more boring to come into threads and see people complaining about what other people are posting. Just put him on ignore or something. I'm just going to leave it all alone. I'm really sorry people can't stand my repetitiveness. Genuinely sorry I've rubbed a few posters up the wrong way. You won't hear me going on about it again and so you won't hear people complaining about me again either.
October 17, 201410 yr i'm personally tired of hearing people go on about how GOOD she is. i mean she lowest common denominator pop, three albums in a row, the aching lack of self-awareness, tired and trite tunes with an overblown foghorn vocal. lyrically everything touches on stereotypical themes that end up making everything feel impersonal and ultimately cold. pop is a pretty shallow field but there are many an artist better in caliber in every sense than this woman.

Just put him on ignore or something. at least the complaints come once in a blue moon as opposed to every page. and T Boy, i put "in the nicest possible way" at the start of my post as i didn't want to sound patronising or nasty, you're posts are quite often interesting and you are obviously a valued member of buzzjack, just not when it concerns jessie j. :P

Plus it comes from more than just one person, so it doesn't feel repetitive. Once you've had your say on the album/artist/song at hand, that should be it. At least Pavel seems to have (tried) to have listened to the album and just stated that he didn't like it (fair enough), but (obviously I don't know this) for some reason I don't get the impression that T Boy actually HAS and just does it to wind certain members up (it works, but it's boring). If he has listened to it, then what's he doing listening to a record that he knows he'll dislike (she's had more than enough tracks/albums to know whether you're going to like her or not)? I don't go out of my way to listen to a Florence album for example, because I just know that I won't be able to bear her voice and then bang on about it every time someone posts a positive about the album in her thread. But perhaps that's just me and why I'm struggling to understand why he feels the need to do it, when I can prevent myself from doing it to artists I dislike. It's just confusing (and again, boring at how repetitive and constant it is).
October 17, 201410 yr erm i was clearly making a very flippant remark? have we not both posted here for years? hopefully after 8 years on buzzjack i would know how threads work... i mean really why all this care? if you like someone, you like them, get on with it. jessie j just so happens to have a lot that people dislike about her. as regina said, there really is nothing worse than THE THREAD POLICE coming out.
October 18, 201410 yr I know I said I wouldn't go on but.... I haven't heard the entire album, no, but I've heard quite a few tracks as they've been posted about the internet. The reason I've gone out of my way to listen to them was because people were saying they were good/amazing and it wasn't just Jessie J stans either. So I gave it a go and found them not to be the case for me. All of this T BOY JUST HATES JESSIE J stuff is also over the top and misinformed. I quite liked Price Tag before the overplay, though I still think it's a bit average to be a million seller. I listened to Domino quite a bit when that came out. She didn't annoy me during the first series of the Voice either and I actually thought she came across quite well there. I also know she can actually sing well. I just think that she chooses to over do vocals to much and gets out of her depth. The majority of her singles are quite average also. I she comes across as disgracefully arrogant in her faux-humble interviews where she bigs up her own talent more than anyone else. It's very off putting. She's not the only problem with Bang Bang either. Ariana is equally awful. The reason I post in threads about her when I don't like her, it's because I can and do for other artists I don't like. She is all over the place right now and sometimes I feel the need to express my opinion. I have understood that it has become repetitive so that is why, after this post, I promise to post less about it. I felt like Callum was being deliberately on my case and I apologise for thinking that since he has explained that he wasn't. I won't be repetitive but we really do need less of the 'why do you post here if you don't like this artist?' post. If this was a labelled appreciation thread then a question like that may be constructive but in a general discussion thread, Jake should be able to vent his opinion.
October 18, 201410 yr I love the album so many good tracks :) I think it's up there with Who You Are in terms of her albums Alive was by far her worst . Anyway moving on from this topic here she is performing Bang Bang and Burnin Up on Dancing With The Stars in America this week ngE-9unFI8Q Edited October 18, 201410 yr by troylovesmusic
