I love Bastille, but they really need to move that song from the A List now.

FINALLY, SIA! :D

She has to be one of the artists with the longest time span on the playlist, since "Taken For Granted" in 2000.

Also good for Sia. I'm surprised Beyonce hasn't moved up though.

Great week, Sia still relevant at 38 even though her first Radio 1 playlisting was in 2000 *.*

The Milky Chance song is rather ancient but ok then, will be nice to get another hit from the continent!

Yayy Sia!! Pleased for Ariana Grande and Catfish & The Bottlemen and I'm interested to hear the Milky Chance song as that's supposed to be the next big hit right?
not overly keen on any of this week's additions  ~ good to see gecko moving up the playlist though :cheer:

not even 'Stolen Dance'?

anyway yay for that, Sia, and Ariana Grande getting playlisted! and Gecko moving up too is a great thing too of course.

stolen dance is quite good, but i fear it will be played to death pretty quickly~

'Salute' gone already? Really? That marks 3 consecutive singles that haven't even made the A-list. Their radio support has been very flimsy this era.

I think because this is the 'impact week' and in their eyes it's 'flopping', they always do this. :(

YESSS for Sia! :cheer: Nothing stopping this being a big hit now.

Quite like most of the new enteries. Espically catfish and the bottlemen, milky chance, pulled apart by horses, Sohn and Eminem. I havent heard Sia so I cant say if I like it or not. Ariana Grande is good too. Happy about the new entries. :cheer:

glad to see Tremor, Forest Fries and Messed Up World moved up :-)

and... finally... SIA! so damn happy to see this pretty woman here!

Well in that case, they should have removed Katy Perry/London Grammar and certainly Bastille/The 1975. Oh, and not kept 'You and I' on the A-list for that length of time. Their double standards are frustrating.

American pop artists and indie acts in general are treated a lot nicer than British pop artists are. It is definitely frustrating though, 'Bad Blood' is doing worse than any A-listed song I've ever seen (#371 & #525) and yet they have no desire to remove it.

I suppose the argument would be that as much as singles like 'Birthday' and 'Bad Blood' may not sell a lot, Radio 1 think their listeners still enjoy their presence on the radio. Obviously they don't feel Little Mix (and their ilk) are similarly enjoyed.

Wonder if "Tremor" can become a third T10 for Martin Garrix. They seem to be crediting him solely when introducing the track on air, poor Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

Peace on the INMWT playlist, argh. Hopefully it'll move up, they sensibly gone down a more radio-friendly sound for "Money", would be nice to see them challenge for a T40 placing - "Wraith", their debut, peaked at #75.

I can't see that happening. It might not even go top 20. Why they pushed this over 'Gold Skies' I will never know, but I've still got hope that they'll push that shortly after this inevitably flops.

I think they don't think they are a important enough artist to A list and so most B list artists spend 4-6 weeks on there!
