I wouldn't hold out hope on there being another series of civilian BB after this. I mean, what is there even left to root for if you're not a 14 year old chav or Calum. That and the ratings have taken a complete nosedive!

I thought this a couple of weeks ago, they don't seem to give a shit about the civilian series but they put enough effort in for two series of CBB a year with (usually) a bunch of really good housemates on the whole. The contract runs out and I heard rumours IT. want it for their new channel ITVbe, but I've heard nothing of it since. Either they'll maybe get it or C5 will drop the civilian series. It really has gone downhill though, I'm rewatching BB5 atm and it was infinitely better than this.

Yeah I have never seen a series nosedive so spectacularly. I think this will have killed off the franchise for good, that or they are seriously going to have to readjust the series in a BIG way next year.

I really don't want the BB civilian series to end because I prefer them to CBB, it's just that they've got it SO WRONG this year. There's been way too much manipulation from the producers. Twists are good when used much more sparingly, but their twists have been way too powerful in protecting certain housemates. It doesn't help that, for many, the twists are protecting housemates that 90% of the general public don't like. Everything from the housemates being "on the brink of fame", to having people being saved from nominations left, right and centre is just TOO much.

 

The public does like arguments, I love arguments, but it's when the arguments descend into bullying and seriously damaging ostracising of certain housemates, it because really uncomfortable to watch.

I'm quite certain C4 series didn't have HMs secretly watch their fellow HMs talk in the diary room, bitch behind everyone's backs and reveal their nominations every couple of weeks or pull out some twist that involves being saved from eviction?? It's chaotic and absolutely doesn't have room for strategy and game play. It's SO entertaining to see people say how ANNOYING someone is in the DR but be nice to their face! However in current environment it's just literally impossible because everyone will find out eventually due to some shitty twist or a task or some other manipulation.

 

I thought the power twist would be amazing, and it was good in places, but it was too much too soon. It gave Pauline way too much power after just 24 hours, letting her decide the pass to the final and killer nomination, especially as she chose awfully for each one. I wouldn't have minded if they both happened now or halfway through.

 

C4 usually got the twists just right and didn't overdo it, the bedsit in BB5 and the halfway house in BB7 are prime examples. The secret eviction last year was amazing though, as was Dan's secret eviction, so C5 can do it, but they can also get it so wrong just as easily...

Its nothing to do with C4 or C5, its the same companny running the show. The last few years on C4 were dreadful too with some horrible twists.

Jale is creeping up to Ashleigh as fave to go! Still think Ashleigh is a goner, but Jale going would be good I think, I don't mind her but she's not bringing much to the house.

Jale is now Favourite to go with the bookies :o

I am now thinking like that - Ashleigh has never faced the public vote before and we don't even know how many supporters and haters she really has! With Matthew going over Ash last week, Christmas could leave on Friday for all we know!

 

The shitty thing is that we will lose another female. Only Danielle, Kimberly and one of Ashleigh/Jale will be left after Friday :/ (Helen is classed as neither a woman nor a man. Just It.)

I actually think that Christopher could be evicted on Friday. It obviously suffers your chances of progressing if you're up every week as eventually people stop voting.

 

All Ashleigh fans are voting to evict Jale.

Had BB been up for renewal at the end of last season, I could possibly see it being renewed. Last season was the strongest out of all the C5 BBs,

This one is one of the worsts.

 

Just to think - we're not even halfway done this season yet. That's depressing.

The likes of Toya and BB Spy are all getting involved in spreading this message. Obviously it's a shame that Jale is having to be the one that goes, but it's necessary so that we can keep Ashleigh in.

 

Jale is now favourite to go with the bookies so may be there is a chance this could work!

I've been seeing that campaign all over aswell, I hope to god it works, but there was a campaign for Toya and it didn't work, so I'm not gonna get my hopes up...

Plus, odds are only a reflection of how much people are betting on something, not purely a measurement of probability. Ashleigh is still doomed.

I can't see that the odds are anything to take into consideration tonight, given it's the opinions of 3 people to decide as opposed to the public. I REAAAALLY cannot stress how much I want Danielle to say though, please be Steven or Kim. :(

It'll be an absolute shame if Danielle goes tonight. I will officially start the Pav/Zoe/Biannca (the latter already there~) hate campaign.

 

SO WHAT if Danielle had a few naked pictures or did something. AS IF everyone in the house is EXACTLY what they say they are.

 

I SO HOPE Biannca get those evil chants today and gets booted out. She's vile beyond belief. I don't think I ever hated female housemates so much before this year! And now we have TWO of those. :/

I think Kim being evicted will shake the house up (as a whole) so much more than if either Steven or Danielle left. So for that reason, I wouldn't mind if she left/got evicted tonight, as much as it'd sadden me. Also, I would just love to see Steven's paranoia get the better of him.

 

But if it was any of the other two it'll only shake up a few people, even with Steven being well liked in the house. Kim will be a lot more "free" and won't be so f***ing tied died down with this showmance crap. Danielle leaving won't be beneficial to many people either. I don't think she'd be a huge loss to the show, personally. But I know she has some fans on here, but I thought she'd be popular the last time she was up (getting cheers) but she got massive boos still, so something isn't connecting with the general public.

 

This twist is so f***ing stupid anyway, it should solely be down to public vote. We have to watch this. I think they need a double eviction or some surprise evictions soon (bring back the clock task!), because it's getting crowded and I hate big finals. Should be no more than 4 people in the final day. :(
