June 11, 201412 yr Cases in point: Better Than Today - even releasing it in the first place. Timebomb - random midweek release. Into The Blue - deleting the highest version on iTunes and the second version never properly recovering I Was Gonna Cancel - even releasing it in the first place/releasing THAT video on the Friday of release week. Better Than Today was a really poor choice of a single from Aphrodite. I would have rather chosen Put Your Hands Up. Timebomb flop still hurts me to this very day. It had so many potential to do well and it had a great video, but it was promoted very poorly. I doubt many were even aware of the single's release. Agree on Into The Blue and IWGT killed any chance of a chart success by that horrendous video.

June 11, 201412 yr 'Stronger Than Ever' I didn't realise he was in Broadchurch. Edited June 11, 201412 yr by Connor.
June 11, 201412 yr Where is this song being played again...some TV show? Thought Rik would have been top 30 but it was only Moday when it jumped up i suppose!
June 11, 201412 yr Rik Mayall top 40! Hopefully should be top 10 on Sunday :D Really hope not. I quite like this Raleigh song! :o I've heard it LOADS on the ITV advert but never knew what it was.
June 11, 201412 yr It's on one of those ITV adverts (the type of ads that helped boost Ellie's 'Explosions' and Rihanna's 'What Now' - ask again in an hour ;D). That final minute or so... *.*
June 11, 201412 yr 30. Stronger Than Ever - Raleigh Ritchie Is the best song on the chart right now... So happy for him!!!
June 11, 201412 yr 'Stronger Than Ever' is not bad but I'm surprised at the amount of love for it on here, it sounded fairly forgettable on first listen. Why on Earth are R1 playing an edit of 'Wasted' that changes it to 'Naked'?!
June 11, 201412 yr Rik Mayall now #8 on iTunes and apparently some of the anti-XFactor campaigners now supporting to try and get it to no.1! They havent left much time, but it is the combination of world cup, anti-XF and the sad death of Rik Mayall... Edited June 11, 201412 yr by JimmyT
June 11, 201412 yr Genuinely thought 'Wasted' was sung by a woman the first time I heard it, so I was surprised to see it was actually Matthew Koma!
June 11, 201412 yr Why on Earth are R1 playing an edit of 'Wasted' that changes it to 'Naked'?! They always play that version. They've never played the Wasted version. The only reason I can think of that the normal version is censored on the radios is because 'wasted' sounds a little rapey, but even then, they're not saying 'I like you better when YOU'RE wasted' it's 'when we're wasted' so I still don't understand.
June 11, 201412 yr I presumed Kylie was a safe top 40 entry for today and drop after. That is disappointing as she would have received a radio play had she stayed top 40 and possibly achieved some sales from it. I also think she is annoying sitting at number 41.
