Surprised just how well Ghost has done- sure they spent a lot on the song/video package but promo wise its 'only' been (v.early) on BGT and Lorraine, didnt even scrape on to Loose Women, Paul O'Grady (yet)-- and Radio 1/2 havent really got behind it (yet).

Ed is clawing back some sales, but I have the feeling Ghost will be Top 10 for some time...(although 5SOS will take #1 next week)

Well, the blue tick is meant to help in such situations.

-x-

Kasabian's debut should also see a rise as it's the latest 99p album!

I don't think we really need any Twitter confirmation of Ella being #1 anyway...

I've learnt something new today  I really didn't know that

True... but holding out someone might leak sales info ;)

Ella to sell over 100,000 would be great. Kasabian selling at 99p will surely give them a great boost, long term i believe Kasabian will struggle to reach platinum, thats even if they manage it.

Anyone want to predict Rik Mayall 'Noble England' for #1 yet?? world cup song potential, much loved comedian passed away with lots of media/celebrity support out there, climbing fast towards top 100 itunes....

[i thought he was great btw...]

It's Kasabian's debut album that's 99p, not the new one.

Ella to get the first credible X Factor number one since Promise This!

You can't really count promise this as an x-factor number one. She was only a judge on the show. The single had nothing to do with the show and wasn't released under SYCO record label.

Yes! Little Mix have already sold pretty much what they sold in a week last week, in two days! Wonder what the gap is between 5 and 6, and if they have a shot.

Excellent start for Kasabian in the albums there. :D I think they should do around 55-60k come Sunday. It looks like Coldplay will remain at #2 come Sunday with around 35k.
No Janet in the top 40? Seems weird as she has over 4,000 pledgers on Pledge Music that will have all received the album this week which would have easily seen her into the top 40, particularly at this stage.

Amazing sales for Ella!

WOOO for a nice climb for 5SOS also, coming for that 11th week top 40 :D

RALEIGH! Honestly didn't expect him to be top 40 in the mids! :o

Great to see Ella slaying and Little Mix managing to not only climb to top 5 (be around 6-8 on Sunday though) but manage to climb back into the top 40 albums! Nice to see the top 5 of the albums looking healthier as a whole than they have been in recent weeks too.

I may be wrong but I have a feeling PledgeMusic sales don't always come through in the first midweeks? There was an album the other week ('Casualties Of Cool') that was PledgeMusic based and didn't appear until Wednesday/Thursday.

Sales of the 'Black And Blue' EP are combined to 'Stronger Than Ever' by the way which is how Raleigh is higher than expected.

Also, looks like I was wrong assuming that Above & Beyond album would be counted as a compilation  No idea how they've got away with that one.

FABULOUS to see Little Mix in the top 5, hope they can hold it all week. And it looks like Coldplay's album will hold on at #2, Jack White to end up at #4 (as I imagine Passenger will hold up much better over the week).

Hopefully you are right! ^_^
