kylie had her highest itunes positions mon and tuesday so i find it strange she gad a higher midweek positiin on tuesday over wednesday.

I might be wrong, but I think iTunes is now a rolling 7 day chart rather than a 24/48 hour one, which is why she would have been higher in the Tuesday mid weeks as the majority of sales came from Monday. The sales on iTunes would have dropped considerably on Tuesday, but the song was stable(ish) on the iTunes feed from the sales from the previous day.

The OCC tweeted that Sing by Ed Sheeran is 40k copies behind Ella so that would be. 38-40k for him!

Rik Mayall up to #11, according to TOCC.

Noble England, which was originally released for the 2010 World Cup, failed to chart first time around. But thanks to a social media campaign, the 'lost' track entered yesterday's midweeks at Number 38. 24 hours later, it has shot up a further 27 places and is currently at Number 11.

Perhaps you could name the site instead, so that someone else could post the link?

Is Rik Mayall’s ‘lost’ World Cup single heading for a Top 5 finish this Sunday?

Noble England, originally released for the 2010 World Cup, didn't make the chart first time around. But thanks to a social media campaign, the previously forgotten track entered Wednesday’s midweeks at Number 38.

24 hours later, it surged a further 27 places to Number 11, and according to latest sales data has broken through the Top 10 barrier to land at Number 8 this morning, based on sales up to midnight last night.

If Noble England continues with its current sales momentum, it could be looking at a Top 5 placing when the final whistle goes on Sunday.

I believe I remember Common Sense mentioning something there was a programme on BBC4 unless I dreamt it

With Rik Mayall falling on iTunes now, it looks like this may not get any higher (unless it gets a boost of course).

Little Mix should be safe for #6 at the lowest, pretty damn impressive result for them. I wasn't expecting the performance to boost it anywhere near this much.

Ah yes, there was a programme on Sunday night.

Clarity may yet re-peak!

It's fallen a bit on iTunes now. I bet it charts at 29 again on Sunday.

Hope Janet Devlin holds onto a top 40 placing, I expect a big boost in album sales for father's day, today and tomorrow so I expect The Who to be a bit higher then 17 and Wilko Johnson back in the top 20

Its hard to know what it will do over the course of the world cup, it could increase yet!

Sales for the top 5 are with the update

Kylie at #47

Great sales for Ella, I guess she'll finish the week on about 120k sales? I'm not sure how 91k compares to previous weeks.
