Love love love this. Huge song, really needs to be another smash for her. Already got my 2nd listen on
I agree that it's basic. It's catchy because it's repetitive and gets lodged in my brain straight after listening but to be completely honest overall I find it a bit boring.
It's like her 'Scream' to Problem's 'Climax' isn't it?

More like the 'Shut Up and Drive' to Problem's 'Umbrella'. It will be a smaller hit, but it won't halt her progress.

I was talking strictly musically, but now you put it like that it's a damn good comparison as well!

Not great. This type of sound doesn't suit her at all.

Exactly my thoughts on my first listen.

I do rather like it, don't get me wrong, but I can't help but feel if a male artist, such as Usher for example, had come out with it the response on here would not be nearly as positive and it would be deemed unimaginative and extremely generic. Certainly nothing on 'Problem'.

I feel a bit underwhelmed I don't really know why though, It's a song that I should like. I think I was expecting better after hearing the previews and how amazing Problem was. Maybe it will grow on me.
This is great but I agree it doesn't suit her in the same way as Problem and won't be as big. The breakdown is a bit random to me, I know that it builds up but it just kind of ends so suddenly, idk that part just doesn't sit well with me, on the whole I like it though.

Here is the official audio by the way:

Not as instant as Problem, but its still really good although I prefer it best towards the end
Really like this on first listen! It's certainly no 'Problem' and would be better if it was for Zedd's album as opposed to hers, but meh. I can still see this being a big hit for her (Jark's 'Umbrella'/'Shut Up & Drive' comparison is perfect!), especially as Zedd is just growing more and more into one of the most wanted producers right now.

Sounds absolutely ginormous. Would probably have done better a few years ago but I can still see it being very big indeed. I immediately thought of 'We Can't Stop'/'Wrecking Ball' in terms of a one-two punch of massive hits from a child-actor-turned-popstar-seeking-mainstream-success but the 'Climax'/'Scream' comparison definitely works regarding the songs themselves.

Not amazing but sounds quite good after a few listens.

I didn't expect more or less from Ariana. :)

Oh and to me this single is 100% POP and not urban
