Yeah the video's fantastic. Maddie plays it just right. My 16 month old is obsessed with watching it. He's now waving his arms around trying to copy her! I'm glad he is showing such good taste! Sia's performance of it on Howard Stern's radio show the other day was absolute perfection.

If the rumours about streaming are true - and there has still been no official confirmation as far as I am aware - next week's chart will be the last ever chart compiled on sales data alone. It will be a shame if the last "pure sales" number one is decided by a record company "fix".

I'll admit it's strange seeing Example back in the T10, but it's hardly a fluke. "We'll Be Coming Back" was a #2 hit in 2012 let us not forget, and he's had two #13 hits since. Personally, I think the time out of the charts has done him the world of good. He's gotten married, calmed down a bit on Twitter and the current single is just a decent upbeat summer track; can't fault him really.

 

If "Gecko" isn't heading to #1 this week, then I'm all for Ella Henderson getting a third week. Depending on how much streaming is included though, "Sing" could well pose a threat for the next few weeks (though so could "Happy" by Pharrell by that logic).

Heard examples new tune today and realised how good it is!
