Hello and welcome to Unknown Pleasures. I will be your host for this 17th edition, after winning the previous round with MssngNo's 'Xe2'.

 

 

It's a song contest that allows you to feast your ears on the more obscure music in existence, and anyone is welcome to join. We DO however keep a lenient cap on numbers

at around ~30 MEMBERS so confirm / reserve your place within the contest quickly to ensure your inclusion.

 

This contest continues to bring the best of the more alternative and unknown side of music, but to do so we have to go through a few ground rules.

001 There is no strict rule with regard to genre or length, but please do send something you think is suited to this competition, to help establish an identity away from BJSC.

02 The artist must not have reached the UK Top 75 Singles Chart or the UK Top 40 Albums Chart.

003 The song must not be on the current UK release schedule.


004 You must not choose an artist / song that has been previously entered in another edition of Unknown Pleasures.

005 You must not choose an artist that has been previous entered in any BJSC contest.

006 An artist can not be entered twice in this contest simultaneously, so it happens on a first-come-first-served basis.


007 You must not reveal or hint at which song you have sent as it defeats the point of the 'Unknown' element of the competition.


008 Both I and the Indie/Alternative forum mods (Jake, 152chris, Grebo) reserve the right to veto any song that we feel does not fit the spirit of the competition.

009 We also reserve the right to change the rules at any time. Muahaha.

✖ Artist Name

✖ Song Name

✖ Audio link (YouTube, Soundcloud, Vimeo etc.)

✖ MP3 Link (preferably 256kpbs or 320kpbs, as lower quality MP3s tend to suffer within the context of this competition.)
