Pretty much every popular song is harmless - not many of them have hate messages or anything. It doesn't mean thinking it's a terrible song is silly! ;)

Though there are some harmful popular songs - insert joke about Idina screech causing listeners ear pain.

Huh, I was thinking it sounded like a Gorgon City production but didn't know it actually was one - they obviously have a bit of a distinctive sound already ~

I really don't think Cheryl has anything to worry about in terms of reaching #1 that week, but MAGIC! will have the bigger hit in the longrun and possibly go to #1 after.

I've not heard this Magic song very much but from what I've heard of it, it doesn't sound like a big hit to me.

MAGIC! are going to pull ahead comfortably before release week. I'm starting to think they'll get the #1, Cheryl should really push her release forward a week.

 

 

It's really hard to call because Cheryl has much longer amount of time quite high on pre-orders. But Rude overtook Cheryl on airplay today and the pre-order is jumping up very fast. If it spends this next week comfortably ahead of her in pre-orders I think it'll be very hard to call. I can see Rude getting more streams, too. It's probably going to be two songs selling 100k+ in the top 2 though!

Unless MAGIC! are well ahead of Cheryl on pre-orders by the time they're released I think Cheryl will have the #1 as she's been on pre-orders for longer and has been top 100 for most of the time. Rude will certainly overtake her officially on week 2, so either way it'll be a #1 hit

'Rude' is a right ear worm! It grows and grows. I actually "hated" it on first listen, but now I really like it!
