Let's not pretend it's at #1 because of Jessie J's stunning performance in the song.

Also, I love how clearly she wants a hit. First Robin Thicke, now Ariana Grande. What next? An ED SHEERAN duet album with guest raps from IGGY AZALEA?

So true.

For someone who sings about "it's not about the money" and "don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars", she definitely puts getting a hit as first priority. I want to like Jessie but she reeks of desperation. If Ariana hadn't blown up these past two years, would she really be on this?

I understand that, definitely  I love her voice but her diction is awful.

Haha her diction is indeed terrible. I think Ariana and Jessie J are both really good on it and I'm surprised at how well this does!

The fact that she's collaborated with more than one artist on many of her recent songs reeks of 'love me!!! I KNOW people!!!'

Well actually only Nicki was meant to be on the song Jessie said in a interview but Ariana heard the song and wanted to be on it. All three are on the label as well so it's not really thats much of a suprise .

Surprised by the strong hatred for this, the verses do take a bit of getting used to because the chorus kinda exposes a lack of melody in the rest of the song, but I still think it's a very good track. Nicki's part is my favourite though and I'm not sure Ariana is needed. But yeah, sounds huge to me, such a singalong chorus and I'm glad I'm not the one who got "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" vibes, as CW did!

she should be happy that a fan base like Ariana is behind this. Otherwise it'd still be at the bottom of the top 100 in the US

I disagree with that, I don't think a feature artist can get a song to race straight to #1 personally... it's a similar case to Scream & Shout where people were claiming it only shot to US #1 because it had Britney on it. No doubt it's played a decent part in it's success as it adds another element of success, but the general reaction on the track from what I've seen seems to be quite positive and Jessie and Nicki themselves on a track would still probably get it higher than an initial low top 100.

Oh my godddd so much SCREECH on one TRACK!!

Two of the screechiest acts aboot, together! :OOO Could be worse though ... with you know who :puke:

The song is a good song regardless whether Arian or Nicki are on it, although I do agree that has helped its success as there has been a lot of hype from all 3 of them about the song. What are the chances of it getting to Number 1 in the us? Is there a possibility it could based on sales alone?
Wow that screeching is awfuL! I can't even through the whole song thanks to Ariana's incessant insufferable screech of a voice :puke: How people could buy Problem I don't know! Ariana makes even JESSIE sound less screechy it's that bad! :puke:
Great song, probably smash everywhere, glad that Ariana's getting the success that she deserves and Nicki's rap is fantastic as always and it looks like this could save Jessie J's career, she needs it her 2nd album was awful

Well if Wild could go Top 60 in America on iTunes, I'm pretty sure a song with Nicki on it would've fared a bit better.

Anyway, outside of Buzzjack I've not seen one bad comment about this, and rightly so; it's phenomenal! Jessie's belt right before the last chorus is chilling.

Maybe you look in the wrong places.

It is chilling in the sense that you realise that drinking bleach would be preferable to listening to this bottom of the gutter shitstorm that I wouldn't want to inflict on my worst enemy.

On the positive side, I guess Nicki Minaj is okay on it in a 4/10 sense.

THREE WORDS: IN YOUR OPINION.

When did I say it wasn't my opinion? It's the whole point of a discussion forum babe.

I am well aware, I was just clarifying, BABE

Dont worry Griffs opinion is usually invalid anyway.

He will love it in a week or so too.
