Apparently Helen didn't apply, the producers chose her instead of her entering CBB? :/ Maybe that's just bitter Ashleigh fans though

Well if people like Jim Davidson, Aaron wateverhisname and Luke A could win then Helen would surely follow them. Would have preferred Ashleigh or Christopher but for the controversy maybe it seemed fitting for her to win even though I can't stand her either. What a complete mess this series has been though. Thank goodness CBB is on Monday :)

Well I don't think Gina or Dexter applied so it's more than likely to be fair.

To end on a nice note to Helen, she did actually have her moments where I liked her, and at least the most talked about housemate won I guess. I do think her making the final was fine given her contribution to the series but she shouldn't have been rewarded for being so vile and it was unfair that she had a pass from day 2, but that was Pauline not hwe I fguess tbf.

I reckon only Jale and Chris would have applied in the normal way. Every other housemate has been in the limelight some way or another.

I didn't know that! But I'm always a little suspicious when HMs who could make it to CBB with how C5 scrape the barrel (Sallie, Hazel, Helen, Louise etc.) end up on the civilian version. I did hear a rumour Helen pulled out of the January CBB too, I'm taking everything with a pinch of salt though tbf given the hate for helen by some.

They didn't hold open auditions at all, all the housemates were picked through a ring-round of their agents (that's why so many were models and Matthew/Christopher/Toya were bloggers/journalists and Zoe's been in the west End). That's been where the bulk of what went wrong with this series happened IMO

Oh right! Well in that case it's not exactly unfair then if they all were "chosen" like that.

So I was wrong not to be worried .

Worst winner ever. A 100k reward for being an obnoxious, intimidating bully *individual*. A lot of people seem to have very short memories. Helen winning is arguably even worse than Conor leaving with the money because this was decided by the public :drama:.

(I'm actually not angry though - the whole thing is laughable!)

This actually sums up my feelings now I've calmed down (I always overreact with reality TV )! It's more hilarious than infuriating because of the reaction, how obvious it was etc!

I'm glad that it looks like there will be another civilian series. I don't think I could face one of my favourite shows ending on a series like this.

How did Helen win? she was nasty throughout the whole 10 weeks and a lot of the public didn't seem to like her.

Let this be a lesson to all aspiring reality tv contestants, these are the types of things that you need to do to win:

Deserving winner TBH. She was entertaining. That's all. See you next year? (if this gets renewed)

I gave up on Big Brother the moment Danielle was evicted.

Laughable that Helen won though.

The public should be banned from voting for anything really. They always get it wrong.

The producers edited it all through the series so Helen would win. I think its probably because she got a fee to go in like the celeb big brother contestants.

Ugh. Done with this shit now unless they bring NORMAL housemates next year and not some wannabe celebrities.
Utterly astonished she won. I'm glad I wasn't in to watch it live. What a dire end to a dreadful series.

Gina, Deana and Aisleyne welcome you to the 3th place finishers, Christopher!
