'It's My Birthday' isn't as bad as I was expecting, although I don't really see how it's appealed to so many that it's a contender for #1. I've not seen it on TV once and looking at the airplay chart, it's not in the Top 50 on radio. Surely its success can't just rely on the BGT performance?

I don't really have an opinion 'It's My Birthday'.

08. The Vamps Feat Demi Lovato - Somebody To You

I genuinely believe that 'Somebody To You' will become The Vamp's second biggest hit - It's not really had the best chart run before release week but I can see this hanging around. I can see 'Somebody To You' peaking at #06 though.

16. MKTO - Classic

I feel like MKTO should go top 10 judging by it's impressive airplay - It's still a fair bit behind the top 10 but who would have thought last year that MKTO would be close to coming top 10? Thank You is so much better though.

It's been over all the Box channels like 4Music, The Box and stuff.

It's also B-Listed on Radio 1 but it is selling better than I thought !

I agree it's far from the worst #1 of the year when there are atrocities like Happy, Money On My Mind, She Looks So Perfect (and Ghost, unpopular opinion ik)

So disappointed that abomination is number one. So dreadful.

61. Dapper Laughs - Take It To the Base

177. Josh Record - Wide Awake

-x-

 101. Bakermat - One Day (Vandaag) [PRE-ORDER] (:o!)

not sure why this is climbing so much, kinda goes to show how much hit potential this has though!

220. Nicole Scherzinger - Your Love

It's a great shame Capital have just jumped on board with 'Your Love'. It's still increasing fast on iTunes and I genuinely believe had Radio 1 bothered to support 'Your Love' it would have been top 2 at least. Arguably had 'Your Love' had the same TV Airplay as 'Boomerang' it could have been top 2. I can see it almost certainly being top 5 which is still a good achievement.

What was the pre-order like for 'Boomerang' a week before release?

Edit: #180 now :D

1. will.i.am - It’s My Birthday (feat. Cody Wise)

Ugh.

5. Jess Glynne - Right Here

This, this should be #1.

52. Dapper Laughs - Take It to the Base

Bigger ugh.

438. Alex Stockley - Satellites

Now this is great. (and I'm not at all pointing it out because I used to go to school with this guy. The song itself is actually really good.)

Glad this is looking like it'll do quite well after all! :D

I do find it funny how this forum hates It's My Birthday yet completely adored Scream & Shout. Both have basic production, unimaginative lyrics and both go completely nowhere. The only difference is Cody has a good vocal on this track. I never agree with BJ logic though.

I do find it funny how some on this forum make sweeping generalisations about others in order to feel superior. I very much nothinged Scream & Shout.

good vocal  heavy autotuned xD. at leats Britney's vocals were not autotuned on S&S.

Great to see It's My Birthday doing well, he have had great run of singles so far!

Still can't believe Will.i.am never released 'Fall Down' as a single though.

Apparently that does count as one of the singles from '#willpower' after all, it's counted as being a radio single. A pity it wasn't given a proper push though.
