From Scandipop:

After a mega successful comeback earlier this year with ‘Blame It On The Disco’, legendary pop trio Alcazar are extending their comeback further with a second single. It’s ‘Good Lovin’ and it came out today.

This time it’s less blame-it-on-the-disco, and more take-me-to-the-club. It’s a bit of a banger, this one. There IS disco, but it’s disco house. And electro house. But yet still camp as a doll’s house.

‘Good Lovin’ was produced by the same man who produced ‘This Is The World We Live In’, ‘Physical’, and ‘Start A Fire’ for Alcazar about ten years ago – Jonas von der Burg. And was co-written by Therese Grankvist of Therese fame.

There’s more from Alcazar on its way in the near future, so fret not. They’ve been generously Instagramming pics of themselves in ‘The Studio’, so as to heighten everyone’s excitement for their proper return. And whether it’s an EP or an album – we’re hoping/expecting it soon.

Not great however. But. Alcazar comeback!? MY BODY IS READY.

Top 10 on Swedish iTunes!

It's not as *.* as 'Blame It On The Disco' is but it's still promising for an EP/album!

It's really good, I'm glad they didn't just return with another Blame It On The Disco/Stay The Night clone as that would have been the safest option I'd assume. This is the danciest song they've probably done yet, but it still retains their fun charm and it has a great grower of a chorus.

It's sort of like a camp cross between Ride On Time and Who's That Chick

Do like a bit of Alcazar, I used to love them when they first came out with "Crying At The Discoteque" and "Sexual Guarantee", still love those

Still no news on an EP or Album, but this performance makes the prospect look likely.

Love a bit of Alcazar - Pleased to see this had been added to streaming, Would love them to get a huge UK hit sadly this won't be the one to do it for them

Loving the WHAM! Cover!

Now they need to hurry up with this EP and have at least one show in the UK I REALLY wanna go to one of their concerts it seems just like one big dance party!

Good Lovin: YES!!

Young Guns: Sadly, no.

This compilation album mess: Disappointment doesn't even cover it.

:nocheer:

Don't they already have an album called Disco Defenders?

Their 2009 effort which also came with a second disc of Greatest Hits.

This release is completely pointless. I was hoping for a new studio album :(

I still refuse to believe they took over one year to put together a 90 minute show and put THIS out in the market. At least a DVD of the show or a live album or something. :nocheer: :nocheer:

It's also a total stab in my heart they're completely ignoring "Good Lovin'". :(
