They playlist "All Fired Up", but they didn't playlist "My Heart Takes Over" or "30 Days" and they Playlisted "What About Us", but they didn't playlist Gentleman or Disco Love.

And of course they playlisted "Not Giving Up", but never really played it. Capital have always been hit and miss with the girls.

Honestly, I think capital are becoming stingey in the songs they playlist too. They playlist so little a week now and even acts you would expect them to have supported (Kiesza and her giant in my Heart), they clearly are not doing so.

I'm more disappointed in The Saturdays and their management than the airplay situation. Airplay is depressing, but there's little you can do about it, unless you're willing to create some buzz yourself. They could really tackle airplay situations if they wanted to, they've not done anything in like 5 weeks since premiering the song, and that's really showing (not even 1,500 in POP just over a week to release). Greatest Hits is meant to be a celebration, and The Saturdays have enough hits for this era to have been at least a moderate success for them.

I love the girls and their music, but after what happened with Not Giving Up, I thought they'd go out guns a-blazing for this era and give it the attention it needed and deserved, so it all just feels like a bit of a slap in the face as a fan. :(

^ this. 100%. I wish the girls and the management team could read this

I genuinely think they would have, had it shown an actual little peek of future sucess but it hadn't, it was ignored by TVs and radios, so they probably feel like they should keep the money for album #6 which will come later this year where there's plenty to promote (not that it helped Living For The Weekend, but hey)

Hmm I think you're right... Maybe they could have promoted even a bit from the start but it must be a bit disheartening for the pre-orders and airplay to be, to say the least, subpar... Especially as it's quite a commercial song, I just think they could have been less "safe", if that's the right word as ironically being totally safe has put them in danger

But really for the lack of support, promo etc. I'd be absolutely ecstatic with low top 20, which is awful to think!

I just wonder what they should be doing, musically? 'Gentleman' was the very opposite of safe and it flopped for them, whereas they've now played it completely safe with an uptempo/"generic" dance pop song, and it's looking to bomb even harder. So it seems The Saturdays being safe or risky doesn't pay off for them either way.

I guess that means their middle ground is pure pop? 'Disco Love' did pretty well after all. Maybe they should try and recreate another Ego/Higher/Disco Love pop song if they really are going to do a 6th album campaign, and steer well clear of dance flavoured tracks such as 'Not Giving Up' and 'What Are You Waiting For?' (as much as I love that sound). :(

Middle-groung, pure and unpretentious pop, yes.

I absolutely LOVE their dance-sound. I think they do pop-dance like no one else (by that I mean, it's better than others who do the same kind of music) and they were actually the only girlgroup doing that kind of music, so even if they were sounding like other artists, they were still special as a girlband. And I believe some of their dance efforts were actually better than some of their more "pop"-ish track.

However, with the current situation, I can't keep asking for more dance tracks when clearly the public isn't interested anymore and the future of the girls and the band depends on that interest. They need to recreate these tracks you mentionned, yes. Big pop choruses that you can't help but sing out loud, bursting out these notes when you hear them on radio.

I'll say it again, but :

I don't think we'd ever hear from Totto again if Ina started writing for their next album. :D

Now THIS, is a playlist:Bt9aACFIMAEiWP4.png

Take note, Radio 1.

Marvin is playing a remix of this on his show on Capital later.

Probably HIS remix, I can't with him haha.

The Humes vocal mix, with extra Rochelle!

Nah, it was Luvbug or something?

I am pretty sure he IS Luvbug. It's him and some other guy, no? It's not a great remix.

It's alright. I actually prefer that one over The Alias remix. Absolutely love The Alias and their stuff with the girls, but they tend to be overrated a bit in my opinion.

He's in a DJ group with two other guys called Luvbug, they remixed Disco Love and What Are You Waiting For and they're both good in my opinion.

Love hearing the instrumental when the days headlines are shown in the commonwealth games coverage. If only it had a little note at the bottom of the screen saying what the song is.
