Nothing exciting to look up to this week. The singles chart is shaping up its worst Top 5 in a long time sadly.

What is this Jungle band at #3?

I have a feeling we see lots of "jungles" recently with Neon Jungle, X Ambassadors' Jungle track and Wankelmut/Emma Louise's My Head Is A Jungle all coming up very soon. :D

Rixton's Tuesday update sales are 5k lower than will.i.am's - looks like we will probably have a sub-70k #1 then.

Good to see Ed ahead of Morrissey even in the mids, not that I'd be particularly averse to Morrissey getting a #1 album but it means we'll finally have another album spending a consecutive month at #1, only the second since '21' (the other being Richard & Adam who coasted by on poor sales in all of those 4 weeks). Incidentally if Morrissey holds onto #2 it can't be a common occurrence for the top 2 albums' titles to have such disparate lengths, Morrissey's album title being 30 times longer than Ed's not including spaces

Even without a hit single I'm very surprised to see Jason Mraz as low as #12 though, considering his last album got to #2 and very close to #1 sales-wise IIRC :o Assuming 'The Queen Is Dead' is this week's 99p album?

Looks like Rixton are definitely going to #1 and Scherzinger will go top 5. I certainly didn't expect this to actually out peak Boomerang before recently but clearly her TV promo has helped along with Capital airplay.

Kove top 20 is the highlight of the week :D Should be safe for top 30 by end of the week, yay!

any idea where Sia (single and album) and Passenger are?

Rixton will only manage around 70,000 for the number 1 position :P

Morrissey number 2 as i thought and Ed Sheeran will do nothing but stretch the number 1 lead as the week goes on and move a step further to managing 1 million sales of the album for this year which i believe he will manage. My My, Dolly Parton remains in a great position and performing well.

"Chandelier" is just about hanging on to the Top 10 (less than 100 copies ahead of #11), and the album has plummeted 11-23.

As for Passenger. Singes: #72 "Let Her Go", Albums: #52 "Whispers", #54 "All The Little Lights".

Sis plummeted even further, she is at 25

We are going to have a low #1 sales in the singles chart for this year, I just knew it would be a tough call for Rixton to pass 70k this week.

any reason for Thinking Out Loud's climb? doing far better this week than the actual 2nd single too :drama:

Kove staying top 20 :D

Sales added - Rixton on 35.8k, which is 6.3k behind what will.i.am sold in last week's Wednesday Update. Ed Sheeran is on 17.2k in the albums, 6.1k drop week-on-week, so may end up selling ~45k this Sunday.

I am really starting to think Nicole will hold onto 2nd.

Sales from yesterday using above

ITM- 5.3k

Problem- 5k

YL- 4.9k

Ghost- 4k

So unless it completely plummets your love should do enough to stay 2nd

I strongly doubt Nicole will hold on to #2. It looks like the midweeks are missing loads of streaming data, #3 at best on Sunday I reckon.

Missing data from Spotify

low sales for rixton ~ what a stark contrast to this time last year when avicii was storming to no1 with sales of 153,121 on the wednesday update
Without streaming, will.i.am would be #2 :(

I heard it on Heart whilst flicking around earlier on. I'm not too sure how often they're playing it, but could explain why it's holding up rather well.
