i think she's got this now. Rude is not as popular as pre-orders would have suggested.

 

I'm not sure how you come to that conclusion? It's still very likely that 'Rude' will be one of the biggest hits of the year, it'll easily sell 100k+ this week and it's exactly the sort of song that would hang around for ages (Heart FM are already playing it a lot for example). I'd say its progress so far is pretty much exactly what was suggested by the pre-orders. Cheryl just did better on pre-orders. She was only behind for the last 2 weeks or so and was never *that* far behind plus she had a huge headstart. Cheryl is also infinitely more likely to pick up first week sales from people who haven't pre-ordered.

Looks like they've already changed their minds. The 'Album Only' tracks on Now 88 at the the moment are: 'Stay With Me', 'Problem', 'Love Never Felt So Good', 'Salute', 'Me and My Broken Heart', 'Hideaway', 'Gecko (Overdrive)', 'Wasted' and 'Anywhere For You'. Everything else is a bargain at 79p per track! :o Get cherrypicking now before they up the price to 99p. :lol:

Only 3 tracks still album only on Now! 88 now (Rixton, Kiesza and Tiësto). How odd that they all started album only, I guess that must have been a mistake.

 

Only one track has entered the top 200 so far ('Ghost' #141) but I expect they'll all blow up very quickly especially with the 79p price tag.

It's a travesty that Leah's pre-order is languishing at the bottom end of the top 1500. The only saving grace is that the length of time it's been in the top 1500 and the fact it was as high as the top 300 on initial release should help it get a higher peak.

I had hoped for a top 20 placing for this but now I think she will be lucky to go top 40 which is a shame as it is such a great pop track!

'Sirens' by Cher Lloyd hasn't been in the top 1500 for too long on pre-orders. Not peaking too high either iirc, if she's looking at a top 40 entry, I think Leah's safe for at least a top 30 entry. Streaming may hurt her a little though.
