There never was Geri vs Backstreet Boys. It was Geri vs Boyzone.

2. MAGIC! - Rude 0.6245 0.6433 0.6527

Her massive increases are completely dwarfing MAGIC!'s update

Yap I guess it's over.

Let's look out for that lead then. I'd imagine the midweek #1 is where this level of success is heading!

Also, regarding my comment yesterday in Hayzayy's signature, I didn't know how well both songs were doing as I don't follow the iTunes Charts religiously.

SO THERE

Well, to be honest I'm not pointing out your predictions (I'm terrible at predicting too), I'm pointing out the derogatory tone you both used last night.

Then again, I'm not saying Cheryl will be number 1, but there was no need to single us out for saying the battle would be close.

I'm surprised that so many people had written Cheryl off. She's one of the biggest stars in the country, and a held back lead single of hers was hardly going to struggle to go straight in at No.1, regardless of how it was doing on pre-orders compared to another song.

She's a big enough star to attract a lot of casual 'wow a new Cheryl single at #1 on iTunes *buys*) type purchases, whereas MAGIC! are relying on the song alone. Of course Rude will be the FAR bigger seller overall in the long run, and will no doubt still get to No.1, possibly even this week, but Cheryl was always going to storm to an utterly dominating iTunes lead imo.

Like Boyzone/ Aqua ya, but I can't believe she could still managing it for one week! :cheer: :cheer: I'd thought it was all over based on the pre-orders an all the talk up in hure!

Neon Jungle made a fantastic decision to go 59p. So glad that this could hit top 10. Also happy Charli is having success and Cheryl is 1

Also delighted that Cher Lloyd should make the top 40 despite looking like a complete flop a week ago. Sirens is such a beautiful song

Cheryl 1.00

MAGIC! 0.5927

Rixton 0.2577

Both are pulling ahead but Fernandez-Versini is smashing it!

Wow ! :cheer:

I wonder what it is that people aren't liking about MK's Always as much as every other song like that? It pulls the same trick as so many of the year's biggest hits yet it doesn't look as if it will even go top ten, bizarre! I can only assume we've finally reached the over-saturation point for 90s-esque dance songs.

COME ON CHARLI

Ooh and Idina has suddenly lept from 27 to 23

Probably this. However, I still have high hopes for Won't Look Back and Giant In My Heart.

Come on Neon Jungle and Charli XCX! I need both of them to go Top 10 please.

As long as Cher Lloyd makes Top 40 I will be happy too.

I think this trend has peaked now to be honest, as a few others have under-performed recently too. Probably only a few more will reach #1 after this.

Wow great for Charli !

Does anyone know if there is an EP for Crazy Stupid Love with the remixes? Or are there remixes available on their own?

Nice clearout in the top 10, if Charli and Ambassadors maintain their lead inside the top 10. I think Cheryl has her foot in the door now, Magic! will need something big to shift Cheryl off there.

So glad how well she's doing
