July 20, 201411 yr Despite spawning several charting songs, 'x' has only one top ten single so far...compared to four from '+' He has only released one as a single though ....
July 20, 201411 yr Still loving 'Fancy' :music: It'll be great to hear 'Boom Clap' next week, too! ^_^
July 20, 201411 yr One of the best songs of the year  Fancy has not got old for me at ALL. In fact I think I just begin to appreciate it more as time goes on. It's far from one of the best songs of the year for me but I definitely agree re: appreciating it more as time goes on. Still grows on me practically every time I hear it. That said, this version >>> m0shG9zC6oU
July 20, 201411 yr They make *someone* sound like an a-hole but it's not Ed. To be honest neither of the protagonists come out of it well, but the narrator (who admittedly isn't necessarily his real-life self) does seem to have some double standards going on. But to answer the question more seriously, I'm thinking the sappier MOR appeal of 'Thinking Out Loud' makes it more likely to chart as a non-single, if that makes sense.

Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an artist name which is a twist of his childhood nickname. In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. Tiësto met producer Dennis Waakop Reijers in 1998, and the two have worked together extensively since then. Reijers is credited as producer, writer, composer, or arranger on many of Tiësto's releases. In 1999 and 2000 Tiësto collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001, he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He ranked at #1 on DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs Poll consecutively for three years from 2002 to 2004. Just after releasing his second studio album Just Be in 2004 at the Summer Olympics, he performed live at the opening ceremony in Athens, Greece, becoming the first DJ to play live on stage at an Olympics. Tracks he made especially for the Olympics were mixed together and released as the mix compilation Parade of the Athletes later that year. In April 2007 Tiësto launched both his radio show Tiësto's Club Life on Radio 538 in the Netherlands and released his third studio album Elements of Life. The album reached number one on the Dutch album chart as well on "Billboard Top Electronic Albums" in the U.S. and received a nomination for a Grammy Award in 2008. Tiësto released his fourth studio album Kaleidoscope in October 2009. - Wikipedia Chart history (Year peak title): Tiësto 2001 56 Flight 643 (DJ Tiësto) -1- 2001 22 Urban Train (DJ Tiësto) -2- 2002 25 Lethal Industry (DJ Tiësto) -3- 2002 36 643 (Love's On Fire) (DJ Tiësto Feat. July 20, 201411 yr 'Wasted' has actually grown on me loads over the past couple of weeks. Weirdly infectious. :music:
July 20, 201411 yr That makes literally no sense. Why would radio *not* playing a song give it a long chart run? It does - he said they were willing. ;)

July 20, 201411 yr Can you really not say wasted on the radio?? Other stations play the 'Wasted' version. Still not sure why R1 play the Naked version, which I don't even think is available to the public.
July 20, 201411 yr Much like the last song, this has grown on me a lot due to it's catchiness. :music:
