56 · Hanson - MMMBop
57 · Justin Bieber - Fall
58 · Cheryl Cole - The Flood
59 · Busted - Year 3000
60 · One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful

Janet Devlin's version of 'MMMBop' still gives me nightmares, but needless to say the original remains absolutely flawless, and (obviously, else it wouldn't be here) one of my all-time faves. 'Fall' isn't my favourite Justin song (is there more to come? :o), but it's very beautiful. The lyrics are amazing - a department in Justin's artistry I think is often very easily underlooked. 'The Flood', Cheryl's second best single after 'Under the Sun' is just beautiful. Ignoring Silver Rocket's repetitive comments about the song describing something to do with human fluids, it's easily her best ballad. Busted's only appearance here comes in the form of their amazing single 'Year 3000'. This is going back ages, but me and my cousin absolutely loved this along with McFly's '5 Colours in Her Hair'. Amazing song! And finally, WMYB being the most recent song in this section - is flawless pop at its best!

I like 'The Flood' but there were SO many better single choices on 'Messy Little Raindrops'. 'Hummingbird' being my absolute fav.

And of course 1D *.*

MMMBop is such a guilty pleasure, such a fun song

Anything by Busted is fabulous too, Year 3000 was always one of my favourites. I've always thought it would be weird for people in the Year 3000 to see a song called Year 3000 be a big chart hit in the 2000s. I wonder if they live underwater in the Year 3000 :P

Sweet About Me, I'll Be Waiting, MMMBop :heart-old:

Enjoying the commentary Calum!

51 · The Saturdays - My Heart Takes Over
52 · Emeli Sandé - Daddy (feat. Naughty Boy)
53 · Girls Aloud - Something Kinda Ooooh
54 · Kylie Minogue - I Believe in You
55 · Abba - SOS

The Saturdays' best song makes an appearance here. Stunning in every way. 'Daddy' holds such deep meaning with me, definitely one of my favourite Emeli songs. 'Something Kinda Ooooh' isn't my favourite GA single (as you'll soon discover x), but it's an amazing pop track! 'I Believe in You' is gorgeous, but I think I prefer the Abbey Road Sessions version just a tiny bit more. And obviously the classic gem 'SOS' by Abba sneaks into the top 55. AMAZE song x
