August 1, 201412 yr I hope Boom Clap manages to go top 5 this week  Edit: I forgot about George :( Could I please have the position for Ultraviolence please? Hoping Lana has 2 albums in the top 20 :yahoo: Edited August 1, 201412 yr by John-James
August 1, 201412 yr Naughty Boy will be out the top 40 come Sunday too. Seems nothing will oust Ella or George from the top 5. All the high new entries are peaking then falling below them 2-3 weeks later while they remain rock firm!
August 1, 201412 yr Author YAY FOR ELLA BACK IN TOP 5, NEON HOLDING UP WELL IN ALBUMS AND LANA BACK IN TOP 20 ALBUMS Please can I know where Let It Go and Your Love are? Thanks in advance Nicole #21 Idina #29

August 1, 201412 yr Wish Nicole could just move up to 20. I am sure she would be like 15 with streaming [she's been 14 or 15 most of the week on ITunes] Glad Idina is climbing a tiny bit again in this update AND QUEEN LANA HAS BACK 2 BACK ALBUMS IN THAT CHART
August 1, 201412 yr Author Hoping Nico & Vinz sneak into the top 40 come Sunday, can't be that far off.
August 1, 201412 yr Ella Henderson back in the top 5 where she belongs  That slippery decline continues for Cher Llyod,i dont believe she stands a chance of staying within the top 20 now. The album top 5 is like going back in time, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and Dolly Parton all holding firm.

The album top 5 is like going back in time, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty and Dolly Parton all holding firm. It's spelled 'Lloyd'. (Sorry but this is like the 10th time I've seen you do this and it's driving me slightly mad). :P
August 1, 201412 yr Author La Roux is down a whopping place of 26 places down to #32 with her album... ouch
August 1, 201412 yr La Roux is down a whopping place of 26 places down to #32 with her album... ouch She has super low summer sales to thank for every being that high last week, it's a shame really as the music is much better this time round.
August 1, 201412 yr Also, very pleased to see a much smaller fall for Nicole this week, hope she can somehow wing a third week top 20 out of it, as unlikely as that seems at this point.
August 1, 201412 yr Author Has Charli XCX managed to move up from #9 yet? edit... oops me and Jay posted at the same time, never mind
August 1, 201412 yr The La Roux comeback is not going well and i am finding it hard to see that the album fortunes will recover, even in extremely low sales climate the album is falling so quickly, it is a solid set of material, there is nothing as good as Bulletproof( in my own humble opinion) but nevertheless good.
August 1, 201412 yr Thanks! I'd imagine she'll move up a place or two by Sunday, she's doing well on spotify and is #4 on iTunes.
August 1, 201412 yr Great to see ZHU overtaking Bars and Melody, looks like he should stay top 5 by the end of the week. Ella Henderson will probably take #3 though. Ouch at Vic Mensa, Naughty Boy and Leah McFall :o I hope Vic doesn't fall too much by Sunday.
August 1, 201412 yr Initially going by the buzz and the Will.iam feature i was positively sueded into thinking Leah McFall would challenge for a top 10 position. On merit it deserves it too so the result is bitterly disappointing as it is extremely likely she wont make the top 40. It is becoming more and more evident that The Voice will never produce a big or even relatively decent selling artist and at best will be only a tv show. With all three series producing no music stars it is sure to have a negative effect on the amount of people who will participate. People can say what they like about the X Factor but it at the least gives us short instant chart successes.
