Damn, I wanted Won't Look Back to be Duke Dumont's third number one. But Prayer In C looks like it'll definitely do it now.

Prayer In C isn't normally my thing at all but her voice is gorgeous, I really like it! Won't Look Back is better than I Got U (most songs this year are...) but it's nothing special imo.
Pray in C is a much superior track imo, Duke sounds like his other singles and alot like a few other house tracks released the past 18 months!

I do like 'Prayer In C', but for me this is Duke's best yet and I absolutely adore it. I think it's time to accept he's not gonna get #1 this time though. :(

I agree with steve201. Prayer In C is a much superior track. I'm not that sure if Prayer In C sounds like Wave but both, coincidentally, ( :angel:) managed number 1 in my personal chart. :wub:

 

Who's the female singer in Won't Look Back? The vocals of this song reminds me of Blackbox's Ride On Time but in an annoyingly way though. :(

Of course Prayer In C sounds like Waves. Both are tracks that have an acoustic guitar riff and a Robin Schulz beat. Predictably I absolutely love both of them. Prayer In C going to #1 would be great, would be even better if it got pushed forward a week and beat David Guetta to #1 but I doubt the record company want to risk going against Guetta

Is Guetta's song even gonna be *that* big? I really can't see it being a huge #1 at all. It'll go to #1 due to lack of other competition being around but won't have particularly high sales going by pre-orders, considering Am I Wrong? didn't even sell 100k (streaming excluded).

I don't think it'll be huge either, could see it going to #1 with 80k+ considering it's currently #65 and has been top 200 on pre-orders for ages. So if Lilly releases this Sunday as well as Guetta I could potentially see a Crazy Stupid Love/Rude situation where Guetta goes to #1 despite Lilly being higher on pre-orders. Would make for an interesting chart battle actually. But Lilly isn't likely to do that which means there'll be a chart battle between her and Duke Dumont which she'll easily win.

As much as I despise that Rita woman, I'm glad Black Widow is doing as well as expected. The video is pure brilliance. 2014 is definitely Iggy's year.

Just to make the record straight, there is no Lilly in the French band "Lilly Wood and the Prick", so people need stop referring to it as "she" or "Lilly".

The two members of the band are Nili Hadida et Benjamin Cotto.

But Nili Hadida = Lilly Wood no? (And Benjamin Cotto has the unfortunate name of 'The Prick').

 

No idea what is going on with the artist credit on this song. For some reason 'Lilly Wood' has been turned into a single word (this is how it appears on the cover art). I think I may stick with 'Lilly Wood & The Prick' in my spreadsheet :P

Reverse Skydiving is probably my favourite house tune ever. It reminds me of the Vauxhall House club scene.

I really hope they do push Prayer in C forward. Then it'd be best of both worlds. David Guetta wouldn't get #1, but Duke Dumont and whoever does Prayer in C both would, which is ideal. Maybe I'm biased in thinking Prayer in C could beat David Guetta next week since I really don't like his song, but I think it could, since the song is gaining ground so fast.

Haven't heard Ella's song, but Sigma's song sounds like a sure #1 to me. It's soooo good. It's almost like a Rudimental track, so I'm always going to like it. :D

Reverse Skydiving is a tune, but the song is tainted for me slightly since I embarrassed myself once when I heard the original song (the one it samples) and I got all excited thinking it was the new house version. :drama:

In all honesty, I think 80k+ could be overestimating it, Problem was top 200 on pre-orders the whole time it was up, peaked higher than Guetta has, and didn't go much past 100k. This hasn't done anywhere near as well so can see it being around 70-75k maybe.
