I don't even think it's gonna be particularly close, Lilly Wood & Robin Schulz are WALKING next week. Their pre-order is currently quite far ahead of Duke's, so it's clearly a fair bit more in demand right now!

I don't know if its going to be that simple, Duke's pre order has been up longer than Lilly Wood's so I think it's going to be a close battle I can see both tracks selling over 100k in the top 2 positions

Part of me wants Lilly Wood to get a number one then Duke the week after just so both tracks get a week at the top

Lilly Wood up to 39 now!!!!

I wish this was out tomorrow, it would so easily beat David Guetta to the top spot or even Duke Dumont releasing early would help!

I think Glow will have to settle for #2 that week, no point in releasing it a week later, as I think Sigma/Paloma will be hanging on for a second week, Ella is best to bring it forward.

Its a shame Lily or Duke Dumont are not releasing this weekend, as I can't see David Guetta selling pass 80k for the week. as I posted sales for Friday yesterday late night, see Sunday Chart Predictions thread, for anyone that has not skimmed through it yet.

I don't even think 'Glow' will get to No. 2, probably No. 5 or even low Top 10. While it's still a good song, it's not as instant and is going to get overshadowed by 'Ghost'. Like Umi said, it's likely to be her 'Cheating'.

Too early to judge Glow yet, it's only been out a few days, radio is just picking it up and everyone acknowledges it's a grower in any case.

I do find it odd Syco have sent Ella to Australia, NZ for 5 days with Ghost rather than helping Glow take off..maybe not that odd because there's Ghost-dollars to be made for them...also Ghost is released on August 26th in the US!

Ghost already went to #3 in Australia and went platinum (although the certification thresholds are quite low for the sales climate so many songs do!), but it's still #9 and she has X-Factor Australia on Monday (can't wait to see her on it!) which usually gives performers a significant boost, she could improve on that peak easily, maybe even a #1, who knows? I'm sure she'll be back to promote Glow before its release!

She may well get pressure to go to the US on her return... If I was her management I would want to prioritise Glow to make sure she doesn't get a damaging one hit wonder label and to,properly establish her in the UK for the longer term. The again Syco can sniff some short term Ghost dollars.....

Anyhows let's see what support Glow gets from Radio next week...

72. Iron Sky - Paolo Nutini

Really hope this can go at least top 40. I think it would have done better if it was released instead of 'Let Me Down Easy' as the 2nd single but at least it seems to be doing well so far anyway.

Maybe Sigma/Paloma Faith could even be released early if the demand is high enough?

It's already streaming so that could be a possibility! Otherwise, it'll be good to see a chart battle take place.

I assume these are all ineligible because they are instant grats?

Instant grats don't even make sense for artists like Robert Plant who are not going to have singles success regardless.

Surely he's exactly the sort of act it does make sense for? What happens to him on the singles chart is just peripheral.
