Posted August 9, 201410 yr Obviously there's gonna be a little while before 1D go their own separate ways, but when they eventually do, what will they all end up doing? Who'll end up making music, and will they be successful with it? Who'll end up on Tumble? Discuss! I can see Harry making his own solo music definitely, and he could be pretty successful if marketed right. I imagine Zayn would also do music but something *very* different to 1D, maybe more urban influenced? Louis will probably be a bit stuck after 1D and will end up on I'm a Celebrity or something :kink:
August 9, 201410 yr I think they've all made enough money for them to avoid Tumble tbh! As much as shirtless Zayn every Saturday would be *.* Harry and Liam will definitely have solo careers. Harry's being Robbie Williams and Liam's Gary Barlow. And I can see Liam ending up the talent show judge too. Niall will probably also release an album but after a few years out of the spotlight. Zayn will 100% not do anything in the public eye. Next we'll see of him is at the reunion. Louis will of course go running to the football side of things.

August 10, 201410 yr I definitely think Niall and Louis would struggle to stay relevant. Zayn would live a perfect life with Perrie and probably do a lot of stuff in the R&B business. Harry's the only one I can see having major success as a solo pop artist, while Liam will try his best to produce the next big dance track, but will always fall short.

August 10, 201410 yr Could see Harry/Liam being a bit of a Robbie/Gary situation? Not sure whether I see Zayn being huge as a musician in a solo capacity, but I'm sure he'd continue being in the public eye somehow. I'm sure Niall would give a solo career a go too, but maybe he'd be the Mark Owen if we continue the Take That comparisons. Louis is the Jason Orange. :kink:

August 10, 201410 yr I can see Harry and Liam releasing music and being moderately successful. I think Zayn will shy away from fame the most and want to be more behind the scences like song-writing and producing possibly. I don't have a clue what the other two would do so it will be intresting to watch.

Harry will have a successful first album but won't stay relevant after that and will turn out to be successful as a socialite thanks to having famous friends. Liam will follow the same route as Harry, will have a few scandals (alcohol,ex-girlfriends) and then disappear till the reunion. Niall will become a songwriter for other artists (McFly,5SOS) but won't release a solo album, is the first to try to get 1D back together. Zayn will marry Perrie and we won't see him till the 1D reunion. Louis will be managing a football club and won't sing till the 1D reunion.

I agree with all this, but can see Zayn having a massive public feud with Perri and then they spilt up and he is in the tabloids for ages
August 11, 201410 yr As far as I'm aware, the Louis football thing has completely fallen through? He obviously (and very wisely) didn't want to invest a lot of his own money in to it. Harry regardless of what he does, will always be in the media. He's the one the media fixate on. I think he would have a very good solo career, but I expect a lot of fans would probably only like what he released because it is Harry. Liam idk. I imagine he would want to go solo, but I can't see what type of artist he would be. Don't think people would take him seriously as DJ Payno.. Niall and Louis I think would probably venture more in to the TV/presenting world. I think they're both (along with Harry) suited to that world, and when you see them reading from an autocue/script, they're clearly very comfortable with it. Niall would probably cut a solo career, but Louis.. nah no chance. Zayn you would imagine would just want to take a seat back from the public life.
August 11, 201410 yr Harry will have a successful music careers in the same vein as Robbie Williams. Liam will struggle, as will Niall. Louis will probably focus on football and Doncaster. I can't see Zayn doing anything R&B-music related as I don't think many will be interested. I can see him being featured on a few things, though.
