Yes she may sell reasonably well but remains a bit of a Radio 2 type artist and thus has a reasonably low profile compared to some of the other UK females. She fits the description certainly.

 

EDIT: Not that this matters and she is on Strictly anyway and I don't even want Fleur with Paloma :lol:

"they are performing but not doing the duets" tweeted James Ingham - seems like that rules Sam and Ed out aswell, as I said, would be odd for them to appear on both nights.

Paloma isn't that big a seller though. He never said female, so surely we could all name at least a handful of UK artists who sell better and are bigger names.

 

She is hardly Adele or Sande is she.

 

It's not fair to compare her to Adele or Emeli's one big album. :lol:

 

Paloma's very conistent and has done really well. She's outsold artists like Katy Perry/Miley Cyrus and her latest album has done just as well as Beyoncé's latest album in the UK I believe, yet she has no where near the profile/hype or single success that they do. And considering that the album market is generally rather bad, I think she's sold very well. Her first two albums have both gone 2x platinum and her latest album has gone platinum and shouldn't have too much trouble going 2x platinum as it's still #22 in the latest album chart and she has more promotion coming up for it. :)
