Can't Remember To Forget You (Ft Rihanna) Avg: 7.766 Highest Rates: 10 (Ultraviolence, JosephStyles, Juranamo, gooddelta, Jsily, MIKEMYER, AdamAloud) Lowest Rates: 4 (Regina, O Mie d' Bandit) We now kick off the top 10 with "Can't Remember To Forget You" released in January 2014 as the lead single from her 4th English self titled album Shakira and featuring Rihanna. Which also means that we lose another album era single. This release was also Shakira's first on new record label RCA, after she left Epic Records. There is also a solo Spanish version of the song titled "Nunca Me Acuerdo de Olvidarte" and also marks the first time she uses new wave, reggae rock and ska influences in her music. Originally another track "Truth Or Dare" was expected to be released in 2012, but for whatever reasons it wasn't and doesn't even feature on her latest album. The track became a big success worldwide by topping the charts in Greece, Lebanon and US Hot Dance Club Songs and hit top 5 in Bulgaria, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Luxembourg, South Korea, Austria, France, Hungary, Norway and Russia. Along with top 10 positions in 11 other countries. In the UK it peaked at #11 becoming her 8th top 20 hit and made #15 in the USA making this her 6th top 20 hit 12th song to chart on the Top 100. It gained mainly positive scores on this rate with seven 10's, five 9's and ten 8's and 7's, then there were just 4 low rates consisting of two 4's and two 5's. Beautiful Liar (Ft Beyonce) Avg: 7.85 Highest Rates: 10 (Cameron, Niall Minogue, Liam, JosephStyles, Kellyann, gooddelta, Jsily, Conderella, Heezus, AdamAloud) Lowest Rates: -1 (Mr Aly) At #9 is "Beautiful Liar" which features Beyonce and released in February 2007 as the first single from the deluxe edition of Beyonce's 2nd album B'Day. The song became another smash hit for both singers and Shakira still riding high on the success of "HDL" in 2006 and became her 2nd UK #1 and Beyonce's 3rd also, as well as topping the charts in France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Swiss and Venezuela. In the USA it debuted at #94 then rose a record breaking 91 places to #3 after 150,000 download copies were sold and set a record for the largest climb ever, until it was surpassed by Britney's "Womanizer" in 2008 and Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" in 2009. The song gained an impressive ten 10's on this rate and three 9's and six 8's. It didn't get any low rates until towards the end with just a couple, but did bring it's average down from a 8.3 to 7.844. Edited August 25, 201410 yr by Niall Minogue

August 23, 201410 yr I want Don't Bother to slay, but I think it'll be 8th or 7th. La tortura or Whenever Wherever to win!
August 23, 201410 yr Haven't been able to hear 'Rabiosa' in the same way ever since witnessing a live sex show with that as the soundtrack..repeated. Anyway, 'She Wolf'>>>>>>>>> Masterpiece!
August 23, 201410 yr I love Empire, definitely the best song on the latest album  Beautiful Liar is incredible, such a brilliant collaboration, unlike Can't Remember To Forget You which was hugely disappointing for a lead single with such star power...
August 24, 201410 yr I thought for sure Loca would be a UK #1! Such a missed opportunity. Empire and CRTFY were massive growers for me and I'm glad they're higher than Dare. Shame to see Gypsy and Did It Again so low, they're both brilliant! Can't complain about that top 8 though.
August 24, 201410 yr Originally another track "Truth Or Dare" was expected to be released in 2012, but for whatever reasons it wasn't and doesn't even feature on her latest album. What do you think 'Dare (La La La)' is then? :kink:
August 24, 201410 yr I think that Whenever Wherever will be the winner!! I don't know anyone who hates this song..It's not my favourite of hers but it has the best production.

Objection (Tango) Avg: 8 Highest Rates: 10 (Rob Steel, O Mie d'Bandit, Mr Aly) Lowest Rates: 5 (***) At #8 is "Objection (Tango)" released in July 2002 as the third single from her first English studio album Laundry Service and following on from the success of her previous hits ("WW" and "UYC"), it became a success, although not quite on the level of the previous 2, it hit top 10 in several countries such as Australia, Netherlands, Italy, Sweden, Belgium, Norway, Finland, France and Swiss. While peaking top 20 in Austria, Ireland, Hungary, UK, Germany and Danish. In the USA it became the final single released from the album as it only managed to peak at #55 but it did fare better on it's other charts peaking at #7 on the US Billboard Latin Pop airplay and cracked the top 30 on the Top 40 Mainstream and Hot Dance Club Songs. The song did very well on this rate, despite only managing three 10's, it did gain multiple 8's and 9's, and no score lower than a 5.

La Tortura (Ft Alejandro Sanz) Avg: 8.189 Highest Rates: 11 (Luk=, Luciano, randonfurlong, Conderella, O Mie d'Bandit, Chris, ***) 10 (Insomnio, gooddelta, Riser) Lowest Rates: -1 (Cameron) At #7 is "La Tortura" gaining by far the most 11's than any other song in this rate, with 7 and despite getting off to a slow start with a -1 and a couple of average rates, things really picked halfway through and became a decent contender and ended up with a decent average of 8.089. Released in May 2005 and featuring Spanish singer Alejandro Sanz and taken from her 6th studio album Fijacion Oral Vol 1, following on from the massive success she achieved from the "Laundry Service" album and it's singles, in English the song means "Torture" and became a massive success worldwide becoming the most famous Spanish language track for both artists and it also won 2 Latin Grammys. The song topped the charts in Spain and Venezuela while also topping the US Hot Latin, Tropical and Latin Pop songs chart, and hitting top 5 in Swiss, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and hitting top 10 in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and France. In the USA it became a surprise success reaching #23 and sold over 500,000 copies and earning a Gold status, and it was the only single from the album to chart on the US Top 100, the other singles were only given limited releases. Don't Bother Avg: 8.516 Highest Rates: 11 (Regina, Nick F1, Heezus) 10 (Liam, Rob Steel, Juranamo, Kellyann, Jsily, Luciano, randonfurlong) Lowest Rates: 1 (Mr Aly) At #6 is "Don't Bother" released in October 2005 as the lead single from her 2nd English studio album Oral Fixation Vol 2. This also marks the first time that Shakira takes a more rock styled sound to her music and recieved a mixed reception from fans and critics and wasn't quite the comeback she was looking for as it underperformed on several charts worldwide and and the album did the same until the re release with "HDL". Worldwide it charted best in Finland and Hungary reaching the top 5, along with top 10 peaks in Austria, Norway, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Swiss and UK. As well as top 20/40 peaks in 9 other countries. In the USA it missed the top 40 peaking at #42 and spent just 9 weeks on the chart. On this rate it got an overwelming responce with three 11's and seven 10's and almost got a top 3 placing, but there were a couple of average rates towards the end which caused it to slip, but still ended up with a top 5 placing. August 24, 201410 yr UYC is gorgeous, lovely ballad <3 La Tortura is her best Spanish song (excluding Loba and Suerte I guess but I mean as in songs that were originally Spanish) I'd say, except maybe Ojos Asi.

In the USA it became her second top 10 hit reaching #9 and to date is her third most successful single behind "Whenever Wherever" and "Hips Don't Lie". Edited August 25, 201410 yr by Niall Minogue

Released in May 2010 and featuring South African band Freshlyground, this was the official 2010 FIFA World Cup song and became another massive success for her by topping the charts in several countries worldwide including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden and Swiss. As well as charting top 10 in 5 other countries. In the UK it peaked at #21 but became a massive seller selling over 200,000 copies and therefore earning a Silver disc due to it's lengthy stay on the charts and also hit top 40 in the USA at #38 and selling over a Million units and earning a Platinum disc.
