yeah there's no chance of Shake It Off making #1. The gap between her and David Guetta is far too big for her to overcome

and next week Lilly Wood and Robin Schulz are going to destroy all competition.

It sounds pleasant enough, but I see no reason why it should be that dominant?

I have a question, if sales are tied at the end of the week, how does it get seperated? If it is two previously charted albums, or two new albums or one old/ one new. I feel like it's been asked before, but I can't remember the answer.

Maybe if you looked at how the pre-order was doing instead of judging on your own personal opinion, you would perhaps see the reason?

Stranger is amazing. Why isn't it doing very well?

Yay for Guetta going to #1. I really like it. I'd only take Prayer In C going to #1 if it was the stunning original.

That Wankelmat song has completely passed me by though. I notice MK on the remix, which should have replicated its success with the superior Route 94 remix of Always.

I thought when I first heard it it would surely do very well, but it looks like it will only scrape top 40 now. :( Maybe it'd have done better in 2013 when disco-ish music was more successful.

Whereas Union J have had so much support and promo. Swings and roundabouts!

Well they've been supported by Capital and on a few shows - I wouldn't have said they've had major support or mass airplay/ vid play

They weren't playlisted, but Radio 1 played them quite a lot for a non-playlisted song. Even had them as a track of the day. Anyway, other than Capital airplay hasn't been amazing.

Although, with the strong promo and MASS rotation of the song on Capital, one would have expected the song to have held up a bit better than it is...

I cant believe Sony are happy at all with UnionJ's 1st week sales of a lead single, they are dire given the effort and exposure they have had. Whether they make enough in merch etc to make it worthwhile who knows-- it must be infuriating for the label who see good market interest which just doesnt produce sales.

I v.much doubt they will around as a group in a year's time.

I really hope Saint Motel stats top 40, such a tune!!

Can't see Taylor overtaking David Guetta so hopefully Lovers On The Sun can hold on to number one but I'm expecting a big drop next week, maybe down to 4 or 5. Taylor will probably finish this week at 2, I can see her outselling Magic and Nico and Vinz.

Great to see Wanklemut holding on to the top 5, just hope it holds up enough for Sunday and doesn't peak at 6 or 7 :(

Lowest placing possible for Taylor Swift and Union J please. ^_^

It's fantastic for someone on the verge of being flushed down the pop toilet.

No Mediocre isn't going to make it is it? Such a shame
I can honestly see Union J perhaps being as low as like #16 on Sunday, also 'Stranger' obviously isn't going to hold top 40 now. :( Damn.

Aaahhh that will help me in Thermo's game if they do end up at 16 since I said 17.

Really hope Taylor can be at least top 3 on Sunday but top 5 is still brilliant. Can't believe how successful she has become in the UK since WANGBT but I'm very pleased she is :D

I think Union J will finish top ten, they're still doing signings and sales were pretty limp at the lower end of the top ten last week. I reckon it will scrape in at #9 or #10.
